Im sure a bunch of us do physical things too that help our game: Going to the GYM daily! (Good for your health even if u arent a PUA!) Hair implants (Considering them? Anyone have them here? U like?) Teeth Whitening (Just did this and its a bit painful after its done for a few days...but has good results) Keeping our look "neat" and clean. Changing wardrobe Anything i missed? These things are good for anyone, not just PUA's! |

It really isn't necessary to go to the gym daily (unless you're on a strict workout plan where you rotate muscle sections for a 5-7 day routine.) To stay in relative shape, 3 days a week...1 hour a day will work just fine. I could go on and on about this, really...short version Mon: Shoulders/Back for 30 min, 30 min Cardio Wed: Legs/Arms for 30 min, 30 min of Cardio Fri: Chest/Stomach for 20 min, 40 min of Cardio My cardio workout is normally tread mill or bike...doing interval training (it increases and decreases in difficulty in random intervals.) Not that hard, not that much time spent. I'm no muscle head, but I keep a healthy physique. |

30min for 2 body parts? that's only 15min for one part. large areas like leg, back and chest needs more attention than 15min.Mon: Shoulders/Back for 30 min, 30 min Cardio Wed: Legs/Arms for 30 min, 30 min of Cardio Fri: Chest/Stomach for 20 min, 40 min of Cardio My cardio workout is normally tread mill or bike...doing interval training (it increases and decreases in difficulty in random intervals.) I really wouldn't train like that. I do: Mon- Back/Biceps/Stomach Tu- Kendo(or switch it with monday ) Wed- Dance Th- Chest/Triceps/Stomach Fr- Shoulders/Legs/Stomach Sat- Dance Sun- Kendo Yeah the dance is tough: 1 day a week breakdance the other pro ballroom dancing. Anyway I really wouldnt take any upper body group with shoulders (Cept stomach), It would be too much of a strain on the connecting muscles. (Don't take 3 Hands' advice as ''healthy'' for you, he is a pro dancer and trained professional, Do NOT Copy, Read the NOT) |

Physical things...hmmm...Going to the GYM daily! --John Well, peacocking aside... I make sure I look my best wherever I go, because you never know who you'll run into. I buy clothes when I have the money to afford them, but I've got a decent wardrobe already. Teeth Whitening, I actually got compliments on my teeth last weekend...weird because I've been smoking lately and the dentist asked if I've been drinking lots of tea or coffee(yes to both haha). I do use white strips now and again, but not lately. The actual laser whitening or whatever I can't afford, and I don't need it. The gym, well I was on a strict workout routine until I got sick. I'm headed back tomorrow. I spend around 2.5 hours a day at the gym for 4 - 5 days a week. Running for an hour or more so I can get rid of the extra 15+ lbs I'm carrying around. -I work Triceps and Pecs Mon/Wed -I work Biceps and Back Tues/Thurs -Legs I work every third day. -Shoulders I work lightly every day with a couple rehab routines for my left shoulder. I hurt it benching last year. I will never bench press again at the advice of my Aunt who was a Physical Therapist. She saw patients every day who used to be body builders when they were young and as they got older they developed serious joint problems in their shoulders. Hair Implants...ooo that's an interesting subject. I am losing my hair(at 20...I know it's young to be falling out.) But the dermatologist put me on Propecia, which is working well so far. I've heard horror stories about doctors who've botched hair implant surgeries. If they fuck it up you will get scars on your head, so if you ever decide to just shave it off and go bald(as I plan to do when the time comes), then you will have these ugly scars. Also, with hair implants, you need to keep going back because even though you've had some implants you will still be losing your natural hair. That means you have to make appointments to keep getting it done...which in my opinion increases the chances of a botched surgery. On top of that I'm sure it's expensive as hell. There's supposed to be this laser comb out on the market now that ACTUALLY works...it's 500$ and if you can blow the money then it might be worth it...who knows? ~Muse |

But, as I stated...I'm not going for a built physique...just a healthy one. My routine w/ a proper diet (it's not nearly as restrictive as the term diet suggests)...I'm where I want to be. |

I really like to take my time at the Gym, its fun and there is opertunity for us people there =). I usually do 30 mins cardio then 30 mins lifting, then shower there. I really enjoy my time there, lets me clear my head, stay healthy, and get stronger and more fit. When i started it took me 11 mins to run a mile, now im down to 6:27! I did the teeth whitening today and am pleased with the results. If your from NY I can tell you the place to go, they got a special for $299. But i got to warn you, you have to stay basicly still with this spreader thing and about 20 pieces of gause in your mouth for an hour, durring which time you will experiance a sharp pain or to in your teeth. Afterwards you will have aching teeth for a day or two and cant eat/drink anything not white/clear for 2 days. If i dont have a HB9 compliment me on my teeth im going to cry lol =) I just wear a hat, so no implants for me. |
