| Post subject: | A great quote from The Game |
Quote: "One day, a scorpion stood on the side of a stream and asked a frog to carry it to the other side. 'How do I know you won't sting me?' the frog ask. 'Because if I sting you, I'll drown,' the scorpion said.
We quickly forget what we've learned and often resort to our instincts whether they be wise or not. My instincts tell me "be nice to her, tell her she's pretty, give her attention, ask her out, buy her dinner.""The frog thought about it and realized that the scorpion was right. So he put the scorpion on his back and started ferrying him. But midway across the stream, the scorpion plunged its stinger into the frog's back. As they both began to drown, the frog gasped, 'why?'" "The scorpion replied, 'Because it is my nature.'" Doing those things won't get me across the proverbial "stream". I am the scorpion and the frog is the Mystery Method. The stinger represents my AFC impulses and the stream is success with women. |

Then you walk around for two weeks wearing a dress and a goalie mask with a dildo strapped to the front. Thats what I did. And I will never be afraid of public humiliation again." |

very nice.. remember, many of these sayings you hear have been around for forever and therefore revolve around chivalry. Chivalry is dead.. why do you ask? Chivalry was around during the medieval times and basically focused on two things.. That women were not equal to men and that they were the man's property. as long as we live in a society where men and women are equal chivalry will be dead. A common trend you still see are women wanted to have equal rights in the workplace but be treated like women.. Simply put, as long as women want to be your equal, then chivalry is dead. If she still believes in chivalry then she doesn't deem herself equal and therefore should not even command your respect in the least... unless that's what you like of course |

I disagree. You should read David Shade's book Secrets of Female Sexuality. It gives a great perspective on how women want to be treated and it completely changed how I ran my game and improved my game by a huge amount.Chivalry is dead.. why do you ask? Women have brains as intelligent as men's so they want to be treated as intellectual equals in life, but in a relationship, you need to be the dominant party, because women are the submissive party due to biology and evolution. So, chivalry still works. You hold a door open for her out of respect, but then when you get her home, you tear her shirt off and fuck her in the kitchen before she even takes her coat off. |

I agree with Rye Lee on this one... As much as women want to be equals, there will always be the male female relationship, its as simple as that

point taken. i've personally never had to deal with it as i like women that aren't afraid to say no and disagree... i'm a big fan of equality and while i treat my women quite well i can't stand a woman who thinks that way.. it's just manipulation even despite the old times |

You're missing the point. Its not about "Oh, I don't hang around that type of woman". Do you remember in The Game when people would say, "Wouldn't work on my girl, she's not like that!" or shit like that and then they would go and have the girl all over them? Same thing. This is just a psychological fact between men and women. We are dominant, they are submissive. It isn't about controlling them, or not having them think for themselves, or any of that stuff that people always bring up in these discussions. Its all about being 2 parts of something, complimentary to each other. I'm sure you've plugged in a few electrical devices in your time. You may have noticed that there is a "male" and a "female" end to that connection (this is how they are referred to, not something I am saying to make an analogy). Same thing goes for any coupling, their is a dominant and a submissive, a male and a female. You may go, "But Rye Lee! What about homosexuals?! They're both male, or both female!" Well, then you've obviously never seen a homosexual couple, cause one person is dominant and one is submissive, its just a fact of nature. One if fucking the other up the ass, or fingering the other. Sure, they may swap, but they are dominant and submissive in those instances and it carries into the rest of the relationship, same way as being an alpha personality puts your in the dominant position in most situations. Women want to be equal sure, but in a relationship, when it comes to sex, they want to be dominated. Don't believe me still? Read My Secret Garden by Nancy Friday. This is THE quintessential book on female fantasies, written during the height of the feminine revolution and with some additions from the late 90's in newer copies. I'm still going through it, but I haven't read any fantasies where the woman dominates the man, aside from ones where she has a dick. You'd think that these women that are self proclaimed feminists, would be the ones saying they want to tie their husbands down and mount them and take control, but they don't. They want their husband to tie THEM up and to have their friends dominate THEM. Women are just the submissive side to sex, just as we are the dominant, its evolution. There is no reason to fight against something that it part of nature and is evident in many other species. Sure some species have the female as the dominant role, but not ours at this point in our evolution. Go with it, its what she wants. |

You don't say Rye? Hey, she's so into me she won't mind some tears on that shirt . . . Later, if she's good, I'll just replace the shirt . . . |

Really, great thread going here. I loved the metaphorical sense in the first post, and the subsequent post that follows. In my view, chivalry is still around, but pops up from time to time. |
