So pay attention! Even if you think this is obvious or don't think it matters, read this excerpt from an article I read about music and emotions: Here is the paraphrased, general idea of the article: Songs can play on emotions by creating bridges towards GOOD memories. Activity was seen in the reward/motivation, emotion, and arousal areas of the brain when the subjects where played emotionally driven songs. This result was interesting partly because these areas are associated with the pleasure induced by food, sex, and drugs of abuse, which would imply a connection between such pleasure and the pleasure induced by music. So what does this mean? Create a mix that stimulates her emotions. If you choose tasteful, emotional songs you can activate these parts in her (and your) brain. You can create a romantic mood and, in the future, these same songs will effectively arouse the good feelings she had for you the nights before. She will be subconsciously "turned on", so to speak. This technique has worked for me in the past. While it didn't single handedly lead towards sex, it significantly sped up the escalation process. Now every time my date hears those songs she gets turned on (much like in The Game with the waitress and the hand motions). I recommend that everyone at least try this, even if it seems like a straightforward and obvious idea. Here's an example of a mix I created (don't hate if you have different tastes in music)- 1. NARC - Interpol 2. "We Danced Together" - The Rakes 3. "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" - Arctic Monkeys 4. "Nightstand" - Hot IQ's 5. "Starlight" - Muse 6. "Maps" - Yeah Yeah Yeah's 7. "No I In Threesome" - Interpol 8. "Bright Young Thing"- Albert Hammond Jr. 9. "Time Stands Still" - Cut Copy 10. "Caroline" - Radio 4 11. "Specialist" - Interpol 12. "This Modern Love" - Bloc Party -There's more but I think I've made my point. So here's a basic summary: - Create a SPECIAL mix CD to use when you and your date are driving to your various locations. Activate the pleasure centers in her brain with emotionally driven songs; we all know how women are emotionally driven Let me know what you think, I'm always open for criticism - Soma |

Good post -- I think there's a lot of potential with music. Whether it's a "Wow, you like Interpol too? No way. I can't even talk to you anymore." or a "You don't like/haven't heard of Interpol? No way! I guess I'll forgive you this time. You also made a good point in that music can change your emotions in the blink of an eye -- make an emotionally charged mix tape, and you have an emotionally charged HB (in theory). |

I think music is good because it gets you relaxed while having sex. You last longer and when you drive with the beat you have a more constant thrust. |

Ha, I never thought of it that way. I just think music is a very powerful tool in the manner of which it preserves emotions. Whenever I revisit albums and bands I haven't listened to for a while it always rekindles the emotions that I felt when I first listened to it. So if I was happy, I'll feel the same exact feeling of happiness six months later listening to it again. I figured that this could work the same with girls on dates. You create a romantic/positive mood that night and her emotions will be anchored to the songs you listened to. So then when you meet her again you can play the songs and arouse the previous good emotions. Cool, huh? |

Yeh that's cool man, isn't that a Ross Jefferies one. For example you could always have sex with a popular albums, so whenever she hears tracks from it in clubs etc, it will remind her of the good sex you had together. |

I never knew Ross Jeffries talked specifically about anchoring emotions with music. I knew he talked about anchoring emotions with touching, so I just bridged the idea with what I thought was my original idea with music. I apologize if he has done this before and I just restated something that has already been done. I just fuckin love music, can't go a day without it, and started applying it to the PUA lifestyle. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to be reminded of the power of music. |

No no, don't worry about it -- even if RJ did do something with this, I'm sure many people (myself included) haven't heard of it. Great concept.

Not a bad idea. Music is a good way to improve any seductive environment. I wouldn't do it allot in comfort because it comes across try-hard. |

Well the songs I use aren't obviously sexual (except for Nightstand, where the lyrics are "We're fucking on a nightstand"- it always gets a good laugh, and is a good song) they kind of just have that tone. They are all one way or another about, I'm trying to find the best way to put this, realtionships/love/girls&guys? They aren't try hard and are from bands I like to listen to, so it's all congruent with my personality.I have actually done some reading up since I first posted this and Ross Jeffries did talk about emotional anchoring, so props to him since he came up with it first (I thought it was a cool idea when I thought of it). The way I implement it into my game is subtle: whenever we have a good moment in the car, instead of reaching over and grabbing her wrist while I'm driving to anchor the emotion (that would be weird) I just remember the song and play it again later when I want to rekindle the emotion. I wrote this such a long time ago I had forgotten about it, lol. Thanks for all the feedback guys! |

Yeah Soma thats what i liked about em.. i have that muse song starlight and that song really got that.. "I'm happy and we can do whatever we want" to it. Hoping the rest of the songs on your list is as good. Hard to find tho.. free music sharing ain't as easy as it used to be. I'm searching trough my mp3 collection for songs that give the same feeling but hehe can't seem to find that much :p I got a great tip from JoeYee, "Avant - Read your mind" really nice song that I think will help to get that nice and comfortable setting thats desired. You guys should try it out as well |
