Good question. After day 2 when I kiss closed her we were trying to make plans to meet again. I started the text with "Do you want me to kiss you again?" She said yes. She mentioned she liked watching movies so I suggested she come to my place and we watch a video. There called love hotels in Japan--a totally different concept than the cheap motels in the US. In Japanese society most people live with their parents until they get married. Japanese houses are very small and offer very little privacy so every town has an area with love hotels where couples can go to have sex. Hard to imagine, but this isn't a Christian based society so that kind of thing is okay here. The hotel themselves are very clean and they provide all the ammenities you need for sex. If you go in the afternoon you can get a rate of somewhere around $30 for 3 hours, which isn't too expensive compared to other cost-of-living expenses here.

The rules completely change when you deal with a virgin. The only "rule" that really worked for me was my slight insinuation that if she didn't sleep with me then we would be good friends and I would date another (fictional) girl who was interested in me. I think this undertheme of a potential competing female was what motivated her to give her virginity to me.

Man, now I truley realize how Christianity really fucks people up and distorts peoples' thinking. I guess what a lot of people don't understand is that Japan is a Buddhist and Shinto based society. People here practice those religions customs, but from my observation they only practice those customs and don't take these religions to heart. It's kind of similar to how many Americans are so enthusiastic about Christmas, yet are totally ignorant of the true meaning and religious aspect of it.

That being said, from my experiences, girls do not take losing their virginity as seriously as American girls do because there is no Christian guilt mentality associated with it. Just because you live in America doesn't mean that everybody has the same thinking as you. There are other countries and other ways of thinking out there. Most of you are looking through a vise of Western Christian values. You've never been outside your country and you don't know how things work in the rest of the world. Your comments come off as purely ignorant. Don't take thta wrong way, though, because I understand why you think that way. You've never been exposed to anything else so you simply don't know and cannot conceive of anything different.

I don't hold a grudge against any of you, but what I really hate is how stifling and narrow-minded Christianity is and all the negative effects that come from it.
