| Post subject: | Let's Go to the Mall |
*I wake up at 1:30pm, overslept, ugh I am not going to the mall today… So I thought. Earlier in the week I put alot of thought about going to the mall and made it a mission to do so, to experiment and approach women in a pretty much female dominated environment. Which is more then true. I walk around the house drank some coffee and said I am going through with this, I threw on some decent cloths to head to the mall. With the intention of approaching at least 1 women, I can muster up the courage to do so. After battling through traffic, I finally arrived, walk through the sears section. After a bathroom break and an unexpected purchase of 2 Doctor Who shirts I spot a lady sitting by her self. Time to approach. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her her name…. She was drinking a starbucks coffee so Ill just call her star for now. I walk up take a seat and this was the conversation: Me: Hey Star: Hey (smiles) Me: So, What are you doing? Star: Nothing, I am just waiting for a friend, she works at Koul’s. (says some other stuff that transitioned into going to school) Me: Ahh, I see, Which school do you go to? Star: StonyBrook. Me: Really? (As learned by Nick, overly expressive) Star: Yeah! (Smiles) Me: What are you studying? Star: Something Arts (I couldn’t hear her too well She did repeat herself but I just made believe I heard the second time) Me: Really thats interesting, What do you do for a Job? Star: nothing just go to school right now. do you go to school? Me: Ahh, no not currently. Star: Did you stop going? Me: No I have yet to enroll in college. Me: Still live with your parents? Star: yeah…(Makes face like has no choice) Kinda need to. Do you? Me: yup I live with my father its the cheapest way to live these days. We talk some more blah blah stuff and transition back to what she wanted to do for a career. Star: Something Therapy (Again she was kinda soft spoken so hearing her was not an easy task, I pretended like I understood) Me: Really!? That’s fascinating. (I believed it really was) Star: (Finishes her coffee and gets ready to find her friend) Well I have to go find my friend. Me: Ok, So whats your number? (I am bad at number closing due to her reaction, although the conversation went rather well) She became hesitant… I Thought “now shes trying to figure out a way to reject me” So I said “Feel free to reject me” With a smile. She said “Ill take your number instead” A polite rejection. Better then running away screaming. I gave her my Number and said “It was a pleasure speaking with you” she complied and we parted ways. Number closing in first encounters was always something I have had some trouble with, when I already know the girl for a short time it is much easier and they have no problem. Approaching and talking is not the hard part, getting the number in the first approach is for me anyway. This is not the first number close in an approach, but almost everyone ends with an awkward face of hmm, ok? Gotta figure out smoother ways of asking for their numbers. Thats my Lay Report on an approach in a mall, its been a long while since I did one of these due to the ladies at my job, which I am done with. Time to hit the field and play a new Game. One that may be easier. |

It's not a lay report when you didnt fuck her. nyway, some tips: -It's not a job interview, conversate, stop asking questions. -Don't be over excited, instead of: 'Really!? That’s fascinating' you can say something like: 'hm, thats pretty ok'. the way you do it reminds me of a scene in how I met your mother where ted is in a bar dancing with a girl and on everything she says he replies: AWESOME, PLEASE TELL ME MORE!! YOU ARE SO INTERESTING!! or something along those lines haha. -I like your opener, just hey, people cant do that nowadays. You should follow up with something better like:'I saw you and I had to talk to you' 'I would punch myself all day if I would'nt talk to you' or even something indirect if you like that more. -ALWAYS exchange names right at the start, you're just a stranger untill you introduce yourself. You can also choose to ask hers and not give yours, you can see it as an ioi if she is asking yours. -She should've shown signs that she was going to leave, you should've left before her and asked her number then. 'I enjoyed talking to you, but I really gotta go. How about you give me your number and we meet up later for some coffee?' Its proven that if you give a reason people are more likely to do what you asked for. for example: If you want to cut in lines and say: 'hey, can I cut in? I'm in a hurry/I don't want to wait' the person you asked is more likely to agree than when you say 'hey, can i cut in?' Pretty chaotic post as I just woke up, hope you can learn something from it. |

I have defined Lay report in PUA Terms, Full Definition: Lay Reports come in many forms, whether they include bragging rights, lessons learned, mistakes that need to be corrected, or a combination of the above. These reports are shared online on various pickup forums and are usually only accessible to verified members of those forum. I used the "Mistakes that need to be corrected" as my following. But your advice is valid and makes a ton of sense, I use to be much better at this but due to dedication to ladies at the workplace I kinda just lost my Mojo... Your post is much appreciated. |
