I guess is the "go get it" attitude mixed with some persistence, a friend of mine used to say that in order to get a girl you need to talk to 9 other before the one who will say "yes" as an answer. I think you actually need less than that, but the idea of the 9 fails one win is still in my mind and I use it during bad luck nights.
