I arrived at the pub just after 7 with a pal of mine, we knew that the football was on and wanted to get a good spot so we could all be together and see the game. My friends aren't really into the pick up, which i find weird as whatever we talk about the topic will always drift onto girls. However i have started to feel bored by this as they talk about it like winning the lottery, as if it is all a dream and that it cant happen. For example "she would definitely get it" followed by "go talk to her then" met with an excuse every time. So the plan was watch the match and get a good vibe from the boys and then start a few conversations with anyone about anything along the way.
By the time the game starts there are 5 of us having a general good time just chatting waffle and watching the game, we are all having a good laugh and the vibe is improving, the night is still very young but high hopes are appearing for the night ahead. England end up going to down in quick succession and feeling bored by the football now and trying to avoid the conversation about how bad things are for the team i look around the room to see what sort of talent is actually out but its wall to wall cock, due to the game.
About five minutes later though four girls walk in, i clock them straight away and wait for them to head to the bar. It is really busy at the bar as people are just standing around, so i use this as a chance to approach the girls and get fairly close without pushing the boundaries. There was a long haired blonde and short haired brunette that were good looking and the other two were both average brunettes, one slightly overweight and the other with a nice figure but not a great face. I just opened them with "you look lost" it seemed like a good line to use as it was full of guys in the pub watching the game and there were looking at the bar working out how they were going to squeeze in to get a drink. I then proceeded to the blonde "follow me" and offered my hand, she took it and i forcefully made my way to the bar with her in my hand. I then let the girls order there drinks first trying to look like a gentleman. They then said to meet them upstairs by the pool table as downstairs was too crowded, i agreed. I go upstairs to see that the blonde is playing pool with the cute brunette
so i go and sit with the two average girls and just start chatting about general stuff, having banter along the way. The girls playing pool were naturally intrigued to know what was being said. They finish playing pool and join us and the five of us are just chatting, then England score in the game to make it two-one i play around blaming the girls for making me miss it, and five minutes later the same thing happens again. I just play around and say the Im upset and that they ruined my night how will they make it up to me. They laugh and the cute brunette says that I should go out with them and see what happens with a wink. I ask where they are going and say I will keep that in mind but my buddies are downstairs so i will see, I move on to say that they would be missing out if they did not see me again and ask for their numbers. I get three numbers for some reason the overweight girl didn't want me to have hers. Once the population of the club increases we return to the floor for a dance and a closer look at the people out, to be honest not the best night for talent but I'm on a good buzz so i still believe i can make something happen. We end up bailing for a drink the three of us go to the bar but its my friends round so I'm looking out from the bar as people walk by then this three set approaches, I look at this as a perfect situation. One of the girls has got a birthday badge on so i open with the "happy birthday" simple, i then say that i will give up my place in the queue at the bar for her as a present, she says "awww how cute" little does she know my buddy is getting my drink. After about half hour of little success on the floor the girls come over to us and dance nearby the best looking of the girls starts saying my friend is gorgeous and starts grinding with him, I'm a little gutted but the birthday girl was giving me the eye so i thought this was my girl and left the small podgy girl for my final mate. We are all dancing with our girls I'm tashing off and so is the fit girl with my mate, but i keep seeing the girl I'm dancing with signaling to her chubby friend and it is really irritating me so i ask her what's going on. Turns out she didn't want to be with my buddy I don't know if it was because he was asian or whether he generally messed it up. So she ends up dancing close to me and the birthday girl, the two girls dance seductively with each other and i start thinking threesome
I gather my two friends and we go to the bar i tell the third kid that the girl is not interested and he starts saying he is tired and wants to leave. Gutted we were in for a long night, but already guaranteed the result we were after.So i keep making excuses to leave the dance floor to get a drink, or go for a cigarette even though i don't smoke, i just don't want to hang on to her like there is nothing else is going on, when i get back i see the birthday girl kissing someone else. I'm furious she is making me wait for her and now she is kissing someone. i quickly weigh up my options and think you know what two can play that game and i go straight over to her chubby friend start dancing with her, look her in the eye, followed by saying in her ear "your really quite cute you know" i return to the eye contact and she moves in for it the lay is back on. After a while the birthday girl comes back over starts saying she thought i had left her and just going on so i just kiss her to shut her up. I'm now dancing with the two friends kissing both of them dreaming this could be it!
After the club shuts they go on about seeing the beach, me and my mate give each other a look like "are they sure" we peal to the back of the group to chat and see what we should do he suggest we just see it through and if we can sort it out on the beach then it saves us time. I laugh and agree that its a good idea. We sitting on the beach and nothing is happening, nothing! My pal is kissing his girl and I'm just getting spoken to by the birthday girl and the chubby one is falling asleep. Nightmare, I'm starting to see the night as an epic fail. the chubby one passes out, and is completely gone by this point, but now the birthday girl wants to go to the hotel. The girl who is passing out was fit to move so I'm trying hard to help her as i am still believing in the threesome lol the birthday girl in the ends decides we should leave her. I know its a bit immoral but these girls had taken up loads of my time and i was starting to feel like if it weren't now it wouldn't happen so i reluctantly agree.
