It's been a while since I posted a field report, in fact this is only my second. I think this is my 2nd week of being a student of the PUA way of life, and I'm all ready amazed at the changes in myself, confidence wise, and I even see women in a different light now (empowering), and I've pulled off 2 successful number closes since my first field report (actually have a date with an HB 9 tonight
)I'm posting up this field report, because there is a variable here that I totally missed, but I did break a cardinal rule in that I didn't win the targets friends before I won the target. I didn't think that ignoring the rule would bite me in the ass so hard. As the title suggests, I was SPAM in a 2 set.
The backdrop is at the dorm, some asshole pulled the fire alarm so we were all stuck outside for 20 minutes before the fire department showed up. I was coming up from class and getting ready to go the gym, when I noticed this really cute blonde, 8.5-9, and of course I knew I had to get that close.
She sat down on this bench between two girls, one her friend, the other a hildabeast (nice person though, I'd share a brewski with her). I sat down on the bench between the target and the hildabeast, and teh hildabeast asked me what was going on.
Me: No damn clue, you think it's real
Hildabeast: I hope not, I want to go to sleep
Me: I hear ya, 10 o'clock on a Friday is too damned early
Hildabeast: ya for sure
(before I could say anything a cop showed up)
Me: It's got to be a prank
Hildabeast: Yeah for sure, so we're going to be out here for a while...
Me: Oye...
After that I glanced at the cop going through the doors for a second, when I noticed my targets dress (it was a really nice dress, it looked like a prom dress or sumthin, formal, but damn she looked good), and I just asked what's the occasion?
HB 8.5-9: what do you mean?
Me: That dress it seems kind of formal
HB 8.5-9: No way! It's spring casual
Me: Hey I'm not saying you don't look nice in it, you do
HB 8.5-9: Thank you
Me: But it just seems formal, you could prbably get away with that thing at a black tie cocktail party, I mean Hell I LOVE looking sharp, and if I could I would wear a tux, but it would just seem formal.

HB 8.5-9: It's not formal its spring casual
Me: All right if THAT'S casual, wat does that make me? Spring time dead beat, Wal-Mart look? (I was wearing a black hoodie (it was raining earlier) and cargo pants, not grungie at all but definately not as nice as her dress)
HB 8.5-9: *Laughs* No way! To be honest I actually got this dress for 30$.
Me: No fucking way!
(she smiles at me, and stars twirling her hair definate IOI)
HB 8.5-9: Yeah, Unfortunately there's a stain that I didn't see, and it won't come out.
Me: I see, so if I wear a tux with a stain on it I could call it spring time casual?
HB 8.5-9: *Laughs*
friend interupts
CB: You're an ass
Me: What makes you say that?
CB: Just stop talking
Me: Christ, I had no idea I was so ill-recieved here, fine see ya, are you just mad because I didn't talk to you?
CB: Just stop talking
Me: Whatever *Got up and left, I didn't bother to get a number close, my way of saying I'm not going to bother with you when you're friend there (made the CB look like the asshole), didn't want to make a potental scene in front of 50+ people but target gave the CB a menacing glare, and I couldn't make out ensuing conversation*
Go figure I ran into her a few minutes later in the dorm, go figure she was talking shit about me to some guy (like it was the most amazing thing to happen to her in mothes), so naturally I interupted (she didn't notice me) and said, yeah you didn't exactly answer my question, why am I such an ass? I loved being the more empowered person there, all she did was stammer... you just are, and walk away!
Anyway, i think I did the right thing here considering that if I met the target again i am pretty damn sure I could easily get a close (probably an apology too) if not, fuck it.
