Met at a bar last week. I was just there doing reconnaissance on the environment before a friend and I decided to hang out there on the weekend, but she saw me sitting alone after about 5 minutes of my being there and invited her to sit with her and 2 male friends. I made good with the guys (her roommate and his buddy, both with their girlfriends lurking around the bar elsewhere), giving her about a quarter of the attention I gave them. She got too drunk for my liking by the time the bar closed. Got number by having her type it into my phone, then put mine on hers with call/hangup... watched her save my number under my name... sent "thanks for fun time" txt next day, she responded with "you're welcome to hang out anytime."
Didn't text for week.
3 days ago I text:
Me: "Made you look."
Her: "Sorry but who is this?" "Dont have this number saved"
Me: "Ha, you deleted it. That's a shame."
Her: "Mike?" (no, I'm not Mike.)
-She calls. I answer, greet, tell her to hold on a sec I'm talking to someone. She's trying to figure out who it is, sounds somewhat tired. I tell her I met her at the bar last week, and we haven't talked since. She's like "OH you're the one I invited to sit our table." Yep. Tell her I'm planning on going to [a town about an hour way] this weekend. She asks why. I tell her some reason why I'm going... she sounds bored so I tell her I'm busy, and she can text me but I can't be occupied with a hand to my ear. She sort of laughs, maybe like a "Damn what a dick" type of laugh, and says Ok. I hang up.
I sounded lazy on the phone. Wasn't prepared at all for her to call. I've been working around the house and was thirsty and had drank an energy drink... hell ;/
Waited 11 minutes, texted as follows:
Me: '[Easy]' incase you save it this time. Or i could just delete yours.
Her: "I already have it saved now"
Was hoping she'd send some kind of meaningless text I could work from, but didn't happen. No contact since.
