#closed a girl earlier today. Came across cocky/funny. Texting wasn't incongruent. Maybe just misinterpreted. Me: Hey treehugger (nickname i gave her), do you speak text? HB: Lol haha hey! Hows the essay. (was at college, summer school). Me: Ever write an essay with a fat guy snoring next to you? HB: Nope! Can't say I have! Me: Too busy flirting with handsome asian guys? HB: Flirting?? I thought we were just innocently talking? (Shit test, I went direct, we were textbook flirting. Me: Oh right. THis is the part where I'm supposed to woo you with irresistible charm. hmm, where to start? HB: start from the beginning. Me: I would run across Antarctica wearing nothing but a purple g-string thong just to share a seafood dinner with you over SPAM. How's that for a compliment? ... no response... I know, I know. That was very risky. I think it's hilarious though and have always wanted to use that one. |

Maybe she didn't get it? I thought it was pretty funny. She may be more of a realist personality, less likely to indulge in those fun fantasies. Try talking about more tangible things you guys could do together, cooking or something. |
