I attended the Home and Garden Show, it's a yearly event in my region. I always go
with my family and its a little tradition now. i'm 18 btw. i have a natural type of game
but i'm trying to improve that early with PU techniques, i dont go out too often but when
i get my car, all that is going to change and i want to be more than ready for the scene.
This show is a casual, day long, late evening event that has many useful items or
decorative pieces for sale or show. mostly it is attended by families but as usual, there
will be girls out to game. unfortunately i was with MY family and its kind of a joint thing
so i didnt want to abandon them for my own selfish pursuit for women. instead i
decided to field test some concepts.
one of the things i was keen to do was peacocking, alpha male attitude while being
cocky funny. yes, its a weird combo of three different PU fields. i just wanted to see
what kind of reactions i would get. i didnt want to actually pick up chicks because i
was with my family.
Peacocking
i wore some stylish clothing, or what i thought was so. i walked with my chest up and shoulders back. my eyes were scanning the surroundings. i'm a little doubtful on dress in the field, you may want to be extravagant like mystery, but face it, i couldnt really do that with family around. also a side note is that clubs from South Africa are a lot more strict, you cant enter with a faux fur body warmer, they just wont let you in. i grabbed regular jeans which i soon realised was somewhat of a mistake. its better to wear tighter jeans when going out or maybe even bootleg. depends what's in and where you are. regular makes you look like an average joe. i did notice this guy was wearing a denim jacket, and i was like : 'Seriously dude, denim?"... then i kinda realised he was the only one doing it and it stood out and really did turn heads. is wearing out of fashion clothing maybe be advantageous because it sets you apart? he pulled it off, if i can pull it offfor some other type of clothing should i do so too? was it just retro?
Alpha Male
as i was walking around i made sure i kept on saying in my head that i was awesome. and face it, i am
.. i noticed that having a good posture, a passive friendly facial expression can go along way. alpha doesn't mean putting on a serious business like face. that can actual be intimidating and may turn people away. practice facial expressions in mirrors and when you see reflective surfaces so you have an idea of what you actually look like when you're doing some of this shit. when scanning your surroundings, do so slowly. when i was looking around at what i thought was slowly i would notice that many girls made eye contact, but because i was looking around, it seemed unnatural to change my natural motion just for their sake. is this so? when a hot girl is making eye contact should i change my natural motion to maintain that eye contact? its like as i'm looking around i notice eyes that are looking into mine from a little distance, but i was being casual so i would just continue my scanning motion. my attitude did make a difference. i saw guys who had come with their girls become more protective in numerous different ways when they saw me, it was actually quite amusing. just dont go out there with what you think is a good posture and walk. make sure it is, if it isnt, you're just gonna come across as an ass.Cocky Funny
sometimes its good just to give random people random smiles. at the show i always asked the salesman some questions that showed i was intellegent and then also tried to find humour in his sales pitch. note to the newbies. dont force humour. when i over did it, it really just sucked. if you do it right, you can make an attractive lady smile or laugh and start up a conversation with her, it may be situational but just go with it. need to actually field test this a little.
basically today was just an average attempt at experimenting with body language. note to newbies, when out in the field, try and notice other peoples body language and the affect it has on the people around them, this kind of profiling can be useful. try to notice girls body language as well, because that will be the most valuable skill in knowing when to phase change. hope this helped out some newbies and some more experienced people can help iron out the technical q's i have.
