| Post subject: | Style's 30 Day Challenge |
Dear AFC's and PUA's, Tonight, my mates and I decided to have a celebratory sarge at the mall. We have no money, therefore, boot-camps are out of the question, so we bought Rules of the Game by Style, and have been training ourselves alone ever since. Though today was only day two that we've been using the book, and have developed poor approaching habits. Tonight could not have possibly been more demoralizing. Nobody had consistent confidence. What I mean is that our confidence would come and go. We have very simple rules. No couples, no workers (for certain routines), no families, and no old people. With these rules, we are very limited, because you rarely find sets that match quota. On top of that, sudden lapses in confidence really fuck us over. Style isn't really being specific enough, because after openers, were stumped. Don't get me wrong, we can talk to (hot) girls we know, but after the opener, we don't know where to go. We were never trained on what to expect, so this is all 100% trial and error. I've crashed and burned a few times, and could really give a shit, but the problem is that I don't see many opportunities. My mates and I aren't old enough to sarge the clubs or bars, which we feel would make it a lot easier. If we could get any advice on the best places to go, and the best routines to use, comment on this post or send me a private message please. Thanks for reading - Hank Moody. |

Get rid of the rules with who you can't approach. Also, follow the 30 day challenge as described in the book. Style has a good method of teaching. He baby steps the game instead of giving all at once. It's better learned that way so when you mess up, is really easy to figure out. It doesn't make sense to learn how to built comfort if you can't even get the attraction phase down. If you had math in high school, they don't just teach you the most complex problem right off the bat. They baby step it, taking it further and further. |

| Post subject: | also doing 30 day challenge |
Hey man, im also doing 30 day challenge and not old enough to go clubbing, where bouts you from? anyway, I can see what you mean, and I felt the same, but, all i can say is learn to walk before you can run. Like ouch said, the 30 day challenge is more about smaller steps, which is good trust me. im only on day 11, having to take slow due to college commitments etc, but when i look back at when i first started i can see i have learnt alot about approaching. Your lucky to have a group of you doing this, it'll help with AA so just keep at it, however thats not to say dont read up on other material and add in other things when your practising, just dont expect to do everything at once |
