I arrived in Long Beach, California last night. This is tonight's short FR: I grab dinner in a Taco Bar. There's a couple next to me. The boyfriend leaves. I open with a line I had earlier mass-texted to fifty people. "What's up?" "Heeeeyyy." "I just saw a hipster. He was Indian and had a mustache. I feel very afraid. I just moved here from Manhattan and I thought I'd escaped them." "Haha, I'm from Pittsburg. We have those hipster guys there too. So lame." Juggler: Pre-open girls with some sort of greeting. If you don't, they may not hear or understand you because their attention is elsewhere. A one-liner she liked: "How old are you?" she asks. "Babe, I'm jailbait. You don't want none of this." After fifteen minutes, her boyfriend comes back. Somehow, he takes a liking to me and offers to take me to an upcoming rave and some clubs in Hollywood. Fuck yeah. The girl starts talking about leaving and I'm not expecting anything because of her man, but she grabs my receipt and gives me her Facebook. She then turns her back to me to show me her tattoo. Out of her boyfriend's vision, I touch her back. "This tattoo?" I put both my hands on her skin and start feeling her up as she tells me all about her ink. "You know what? I'm giving you my number too!" I guess she liked the massage. "Sparrow, you and I *have* have to get tea later this week." |
