Went out to brunch for Easter w/some family friends. I'm the first one to show, so I talk to the hostess (10+, fucking HOTTTTT). She tells me my reservation in't for another 1/2 hour, so I tell her: "Okay, there's an older guy coming in, crazy hair, just let him know I'm here at the bar." She's like "what's your name?" and I tell her. Smiles at me the whole time. We lock glances (LONG glances) many times throughout my buffett / meal experience. Totally into me. On the way out, she gets sheepish (clearly intimidated by me, because I went in bigger than life, never trying to hit on her). She OBVIOUSLY liked me. I have a feeling that I only needed to say "what time do you get off?" or perhaps "what are you doing after work" in order to see her tonight. I chickened out and just left without saying anything interesting. FUCK! Seriously, she was RIPE and READY as could be and I BLEW it. What the hell? She didn't have anyone else near her at the end either, so it's not like I would've had rejection in front of others anyways... So, what the hell do I do to increase my confidence? I'm not even in my home city, so it's not like I'm going to see anyone again anyways. Frustrating. I know my inner game needs work. Any advice in the mean time? |

The big question is why did you feel insecure. The unknown? Not knowing what to say/do this evening? Being afraid you'll get flaked? Basically you had an open invitation which you didn't expect. It's just a girl. Just go with the flow no matter what outcome. You were judging yourself, which made you insecure. Less thinking, more acting. |

Good points to everybody. I'm not sure where the insecurity was coming from [asides from myself]. Definitely can't blame anyone on this one. I must keep working on my inner game. I don't think I'd be scared jumping out of an airplane for the 100th time. It seems like I've been engaging lots of women lately only to stop the conversation when it is only beginning. Gotta get used to taking the next step. As for the video, that's funny as can be. Not sure I have the balls for shit like that.... |

What helped me is having a lot of girls arround as friends.. Constantly talking to them breaks the tip of the iceberg a little..  Also learned how to neg appropriately.. IF you had a bit more playful attitude you wouldn't even have to talk to her as far as i can see, she'd approach you.. Could've slipped a joke when she asked for your name
