About Me: 6' 4", lean, athletic build, 19 years old. Pretty good looking. Dressed nicely, but not peacocked. Not sure what I want to do in terms of peacocking because I don't want to look like a clown but still want to differentiate myself a bit. Known about the game for awhile but only recently really applied myself to learning and practicing it. This is the first time I went out with the sole intention of sarging. Location: Nice bar with tons of HBs. Age group seemed to be about 19-25, although most seemed to be 3rd or 4th year university students. Tons of high-value people here. Setup was one big bar in the center, a bunch of tables, booths, couches around, a dance floor, and a patio. Wing: Went with just one buddy. AFC, and seemed very uncomfortable. I opened all sets alone and he would come in anywhere from a few seconds to about a minute after. Couldn't really occupy targets and didn't talk much. Is this DLVing me? What solution is there to this other than going with a bigger group so he doesn't feel like he has to hang out with me or stand their alone? Report: Approached ~8 sets. 3-set in line opened naturally as we had to wait awhile to get in. Saw them once or twice and chatted with them a bit. At least one seemed interest and seemed to want to dance but she couldn't quite get the confidence to ask. Wasn't interested in her but how should I react to this fi I sense somebody wanting to talk/dance/whatever with me? Girls opened with kino a few times. Standing at bar, HB9 rubbed against me. Eventually talked to me. How to respond? Lost her after I refused to lean in to talk to her. I think it was my best chance of the night but I lost it very early. Isolated a HB8 at a table but she ejected ("I need to find my friends"). Should I have taken her to dance? Lost her interest at some point. Wasn't sexually charged, which I think was the problem. Should have built kino. Good routines for this? Number-closed a girl after talking for awhile. Don't know where I'm at with her really. Seemed to be some interest but not sure about attraction. Had to force the number close because she was leaving...think I needed more time and again, Kino to build attaction. How do you react if a group ignores you? It was tough enough getting through the opener (held their attention) but after I lost it in multiple sets. Is this just because I'm lacking material or how should I react if a set goes back into a conversation without me? Saw a girl I knew vaguely from class last year. She was with a friend. Talked to them a bit and likely will hang out with them in the future. Ran up to me as I was leaving and definitely telegraphed some interest. Should be interesting to see where this one goes. In a pita place after leaving, got opened by a HB4 in a group of 4 girls and 1 guy. Gamed a bit and got interest from others in group. Only one high-value girl in the group, a HB8 who was apparently the HB4's younger sister (somebody won the genetic lottery in that family). Got a LOT of interest from HB4 (kinoing me constantly), and a mild amount from the HB4 (lot of smiling, eyeing me while I was talking to her sister). Should I have number-closed them? Which ones or both? |

Hey not bad man...you kept at it. I'm not gunna answer each question, but overall i think you're trying to focus too much on canned material. Use canned material to open and some to build attraction, but after that you just just use conversation skills and effective storytelling so you don't run out of material. Find different ways to start storytelling, and make sure you get good at being an engaging storyteller. Ex: OMG that expression you just made reminds me of _____. (make it something that makes her ask "whats ___") then spin off into a story. main thing, use canned stuff to a certain point, then just be engaging. hope this helped, good luck bro |

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to work on my storytelling a bit. I didn't use much canned material after the first minute (with the exception of a few negs or whatever that I've read) but I found it difficult to create kino and attraction.

Sometimes it's not what kind of stories you tell it's HOW you tell it. Overall good job. I haven't gone on a mass sarge yet usually ill just open 2-3 sets and call it a night but you really went out there and did it. Kudos to you man. |
