Hey guys,

Ok so I went to a really packed club on Saturday in downtown Toronto. The music was blaring, I only had two redbull's & vodka, so I was sober the entire night. I was stoked to try out some new openers on some girls there but I hit a dilemma.

The music was so loud, any time I'd walk up to an HB to say anything, the only way she could hear me is if I was yelling in her ear. I've always done really well in pubs and scene bars, however I'd like to learn more about sarging overly-packed loud clubs. Any suggestions on how to open sets without them really needing to hear you?

I'd love to know the answer as well.

In loud clubs even exchanging few words is nearly impossible, next day my throat is hurting! I also have no idea what other person is saying either so I can only smile back...

Solutions, please?

-initial attraction via a quick confidant and "knowing what the fuck is up" look

then within a few moments when she glances back nod your head like "get over here"
if shes dancing and gets ANY bit closer after that go dance with her.

long story short the only words that need to be exchanged are pleasantries on your way to a cab.

confidant body language and subtle yet potent nonverbal cues are what shovel the snow in loud clubs

You have to learn to talk from your chest. You will be able to talk all night, your voice will sound deeper and more authoritative AND it doesn't seem like your screaming at anyone.

Thanks for the great response, I had a feeling it was somewhere up this alley. Any recommendations for movies that display these kind of subtle cues?

the method based on talking and psycology... so if they can't hear u its useles to even try to open a set.

but in every club theres a "silent" spot that u can all ways check,
try to find that spot and see if theres a set there to open.

i belive that in clubs like dancefloors its based on ur looks... so if u dancing there and u made an eye contact with some HB, lern to notice her body language to see if shes inviting u to dance with her.

ya in these situations its easy to turn suave and confidant into creepy and stare-y it takes social know-how to keep it classy but if you dont think your doing it right i bet you arent so stop staring

My 2 cents: Speak slowly, I mean real slow..you know what I mean!
