Hey guys, this is the field report that came after the one below and is to do with one of the girls from that report. Just thought i would provide an update from my last field report. The Birthday girl left yesterday so we saw her off by having lunch outside at the benches and her friend was leaving this morning. As she had packed up all her stuff and given away her food etc as she would not need it my friends made dinner and we all ate together. Afterwards she went to pack and i came back to my room but later on she came over to say her final goodbye. She had a tissue in her hand and i could see a few tears that she was trying not to shed. I asked her if she wanted to come in to which she said she was fine so i then said "ok then, walk with me." I closed the door behind me and we started to walk. I wanted to make sure we wernt talking about all sad stuff about how she is going and how sad it was going to be because she was almost in tears as it was, I kept the conversation upbeat and kept hear laughing. As we get out of our complex we decided to turn right over the bridge so away we went. We are just having a nice casual walk while talking about exchange and about the people and laughing away. At one point she mentioned at how young i was and that im the same age as her younger brother (she is 23). I realised that she is the same age as my sister and i talked about my siblings for a few minutes and how we get on really well because she said she couldnt imagine talking to her younger brother the same way she could me. I thought the age difference could be a problem esp as im the same age as her younger brother so let the converastion move on and didnt make a problem out of it. We eventually get to a round about on the otherside and she asks if we should turn arround....o no no no! Me: "Well if we turn left here we can go down to the lake if you want" Her: "O, theres a lake down there? Yea i would love to see that" Me: "Yea, there is a part that sticks out and you can just look out onto the water and the lights from the motorway make it light up." So away we go, it is at that point i start talking about skydiving (DHV story) and how much fun it is. Describing the feeling of jumping, how i did my first jump and how i was absolutely terrified of heights when i first started. I kept talking about this until we got to the lake and the specific spot on the lake. We also talked about her, what she was going to do after university and i made sure that she could talk about herself and make sure i wasnt just talking at her the whole time. As we get to the spot we find that it is being used by some other people which was abit of a shame because i would have lay down with her there and talked for a while while building up esclation etc. Bit of a bummer so we started to head back. Again on the way back i cant even remember what we talked about but at one point i remember as i had been talking about skydiving i said to her: Me: "Whats the craziest thing you have ever done" I got her responce and vibed from there, she talked about a story from when she was alot younger so i told her about one of my stories from when i was alot younger. We eventually get by the bridge which is right by our accomodation so was we are walking i stop just in the middle and lean on the rail looking over the side. She stops and we spend another 20 minutes just standing there talking. I had planned to esclate at the lake so i need to do something at this point. I made sure as we were standing at the rail that our arms would be touching at least and when we started heading back again i had my arm around her as we walked. She mentioned as we start to move of that she thought we were going to another lake which was alot smaller so i told her to show it to me. We keep on walking and after getting slightly lost in the middle i make the comment Me: "Your just taking down these back roads to have your naughty way with me arnt you!" We got to the much smaller pond and there's a bench by the side so we sat down and kept talking some more. By this time we have been gone for a good hour and half coming upto two hours and again after alot of Fluff talk we finally head back home. We we get there she said she wanted to say goodbye to the others and they happened to be at the bench. We walk up with her on my arm and just sit down. We talk for a while and she goes to find another friend in his flat. When she is done she heads back to finish off packing so i join her. Annoying we are joined by another guy who wants to come over for a minute but he left almost straight away so i think he got the message. We are standing in her flat and as im saying goodnight we just stand in the middle of the common area and just have a very close silent hug. We keep hugging and then start talking and then hugging again. Eventually we do the 3 kisses (standard in Holland) and then i move towards the door. Again we hug and we are saying goodbye and we go for a second 3 kisses. This time i noticed rather than kissing on the Cheek its a kiss on the side of her lips and then the other side. We go for the third but this time neither of us change directions and i get a quick kiss on the lips. I say good night once again and head to sleep probabally never to see the girl again. Atleast the job was done, when i saw her at my flat she was crying because she was sad she was leaving and when i left her she would have been tingling with joy that she got to spend a couple of hours with me and get a quick kiss.
