Arghh yesterday was a bit of a shitter. Actually not too bad as I think I have a sensible attitude towards this. I'd been hanging out with a girl for a while and pussied out of making a move....most I'd done is hugging. I'd been working really hard to up the Kino...(basically my sticking point...and without it getting sexual isn't going to happen - no matter how good my conversation. Anyway, ended up sitting down on a bench. I'm going away for a few days and put my arm around her whilst giving a hug and said something like 'I'm going to miss you' (lame) her: 'Oh yeah i was meaning to talk to you about this' me 'About what?' her: 'Our relationship - I think it should be strictly platonic' me: 'Oh yeah sure....I mean i feel really close to you, but that's because you're a really good friend. I mean my other really good female friend....etc etc (Actually I can't remember what i said here as I was a bit gutted and taken aback). BUT I just kept my arm around her the whole time anyway - because I wanted to. And taking it away puts out a message that I feel I'm doing something wrong. Basically I'm following the advice of Kasabi (i think)....just power through. I'm not going to stop gaming her when I'm with her. She's seeing someone and has been on and off. She's meeting me one on one and having a good time when she does. Anyway, I just acted totally unphased by it. If anything, it made it a LOT easier to kino her - now because 'we're just friends' it's totally fine right? Anyway...I mentioned that it's good because I'm kindof seeing someone anyway, and that's part of the reason why I'm leaving the country for a bit (this is true). Jealousy tactic. (PS sorry if you've read this far - it's quite dry reading and not much really to report). Anyway she kept texting me later on. I texted back a bit, then said I couldn't any more as I had to watch the football. Now going for the freeze out. Should be no problem. Ok here's what I'd like an opinion on for the future - since I'm now her 'friend' - would asking her for relationship advice with other girls (or mentioning other girls) be a good idea....Would it make me appear: a) In demand, hence, desirable. b) A bragging/cocky arsehole Going to just keep ploughing through with this one. If anything I'm just going to use her as a test bed for getting my Kino and conversation good - see what she reacts to. Feedback on LJBF tactic appreciated please! |
