Post subject:  Help with a really awkward girl

In one of my classes there's a gorgeous 18-year old HB9. We've hung out a couple times but I'm having trouble getting anything out of her. Here's whats weird about her: She's really awkward with her body language. She never makes eye contact, when I did some light kino she gets all uncomfortable and fidgets till I remove my hand (usually immediately). Always sits with her side to me, never facing me. Doesn't smile except for brief periods when she laughs. I could only find a single, maybe two, IOIs from her the entire of day 1. The first was when I asked her to get something to eat with me, and she said yes, the second when we finished eating and she asked me if I wanted to wander around for a bit. The entire time she's being awkward. I force her to hug me before I go.

Today (day 2), was slightly different. We were in the cafe getting some hot chocolate and we sit opposite eachother and she actually gives me some mostly-continuous eye contact during conversation and smiles real affectionately. Laughs more than usual too. I force her to hug me before I go. Apparently she's warming up to me, but it feels like it's taking too long, anyone got some experience with this kind of girl?

Btw, she has a boyfriend, but he's in Colorado (we're in Canada).

Yup. I was thinking in my head before I read that she had a bf, that she was attached emotionally to soemone or had baggage or both. Look up some good BF destroyers and save her from her long distance relationship anyways. those are lame, especially if your only 18.

DONT ENTER FRIEND MODE!! its pretty easy when a chicks got a BF but do your research on the site first and you'll be alright

I'm confident I've avoided friend mode so far, but you got any advice on how to keep it that way?

Sorry smurf, theres too much that I could say. Its all on here though.
I guess the number one thing in my opinion, would be to make sure you escalate kino.
