after reading a lot of feild reports on here and a few blog style collections, i decided it would be a good idea to write down my own experiences, for me its like taking a picture of yourself before you start going to the gym and then one after you have been training for a while just so you can see the difference......so here we go file 1: day one Location: town(night) lessons: to overcome aa and to make at least five approaches File: ok so lastnight was the first england match of the world cup and so me and my friends decided to go out to town to watch it...... whislt the match was going on and being a big football/soccer fan i was far too distracted to open sets, which was a shame because i did notice a lot of potential...however once the match was over and my friends and i decided to go into the clubs around the area i deicded that it was time to begin i opened my first set outside the main complex of clubs in my town just simply asking which clubs were good to go to that night, the set i hopened comprised of a hb6 and a hb7, the girls just started shouting the names of clubs at me and were clearly tanked so i thanked them gave the hb 7 a kiss on the cheek for her time and carried on into the first club inside the first club on my way to the bar this hb6.5 started trying to dance in my way, i actually picked her up and moved her to the side as her friends watched, she then started play fighting with me and then her friends started to get annoyed with her for ignoring her and dragged her away, at the bar i opened another set just by asking them to recommend a good drink, they started talking to me and were reccomending some really girly drinks, i negged them on this and they started laughing at eachother and fighting for my attention, after about 2 mins though i started to get bored and ran out of things to say so i thanked them and bought my drink for the rest of the night i carried on in a similar style but without much luck.....the group and in fact the whole town seemed to be pretty low energy and a lot of people were tanked so it seemed to be a strange dynamic....i did however mange to open about 8 sets which was pretty good Lessons learned: try different openers dont just relay on opinions, try to change the topic before the opener gets stale lesson outcome: sucess I.C. |

i have spent far to much time this week on my own in the gym, i havent really opened any sets but i will tell you guys about this one particular one i was on a night out on friday and there was the girl id say a hb 8 doing promo work for one of the clubs. I was with a friend of mine and my brother, and my friend decided he was gonna try and chat this girl up. He went about it in his usual manner, which is way over the top his energy levels were far too high, he was leaning in all the time, he used no kino what so ever, i mean it was just a nightmare to watch. I walked over and tried to wing for him some what, it went like this Me: yo mike i think we are gonna head over to walkabout (ignoring the hb) Mike: im gonna stay here for a little bit and talk to hb Me(rocking away): alright man (turns to hb) hey, oh wait i thought you were the cute promo girl (sticks out tounge and winks) hb laughs, i carry on with opener. the set carries on for a little bit longer than i would have liked at this point as my brother cam over too, my whole body language is over the shoulder looking to walk away my friends are basically trying to force her to talk to them and she keeps trying to engage me, she tells me about how she works at the cinema which is over the road. with out thinking too much about whats going on i start to kino escalate and i can see it working at this point. She starts to ask me if i would like to do some topless bar tending for an event at the club she works for, a smile start laughing and say " wow that is the worst excuse i have ever heard to get me naked", she blushes and punches me on the arm saying that it is not the case and she is being serious, i laugh and say why are you blushing then. the set continues with my friend who was trying to hit on her getting more and more forward, still without kino he starts asking me if i want to go see toy story three. i ask if its even out yet, the promo girl says to go check at the cinema. i laugh and say you work there how can you not know. she just laughs and then i go to offer my arm and take her with us but my friend literally dived in between us......i decided to move on at the point and then he left without and sucess after a short amount of time. |
