This opener is golden for me, if I see two girls trying to take a picture of themselves. This happened last night, but thats about as far as it went... What should I have done next? Here is the situation: I was standing at the bar when the hottest babes in the place walked in the bar and stood right next to me. It was a bar with a band and swing dancing, I was waiting for my friend to come because she suggested it. So these HB's ordered beers and then started to take a picture of themselves. I said " You want me to take that for you??" They were like "sure, thanks." After that I asked them have you been here before and other stupid shit I know was dumb, but had nothing better to say. I found out they were visiting from Vegas for the weekend. I have been having a problem making stupid small talk that I think is fucking uninteresting.. Any potential topics or suggestions on what I could say to set after using this opener?? I have thought about saying "Ok, now lets do one where you two kiss." Just jokingly, but I know they would be like "whatever that's not going to happen." And then I would be stuck trying to make dumb small talk again... Please help thanks! -Modern |

I agree, that is a very natural, very easy opener that I've had some success with. But for whatever reason, I have a lot of problems stacking forward with it. A lot of times after they thank me for taking the picture, I tell them "yeah, wait until you get my bill." That usually gets a laugh, but I still find it hard for some reason to progress from that point unless they gave me something back. I really like your idea of a next line... it's cocky and it sexualizes the interaction a little bit. I'd like to see some creative guys come up with something to move forward from their anticipated responses to that line. |

Achilles, you've thought to much about what they will think about you which is why you failed. Don't shoot yourself down thinking they will say "whatever that's not going to happen". A confident man cant double guess himself like that, next time dont hesitate-instead convince yourself it will work. From what you told us, you are just the boring chump who helped these girls out, they don't remember you-every AFC uses the same stupid small talk and thats why they arnt remembered. Judging by your forum name, you have a sense of humor, use it, don't be afraid. Fournines makes a good suggestion; telling them you will send them your bill- I would take this idea and make it your own. you have your own personality, you dont need to copy other's conversions- this is a flaw in the pickup community IMO |

Good points. When it comes down to it. At the end of the day girls like creative guys. One of the best things that I have learned from the community is to take crazy chances, fearless of rejection. If your willing to take chances, some of them may work out, and in the process of taking these chances you get better at it, which then increases your likelihood of being successful. Women and people in general respond to risk takers. I guess I am a little out of practice and need to just get out there. Wild Wild West style. Although, I do think that it is good to talk about potential conversations and the direction in which they can flow. So your not left with this gun-slinger image that lacks knowing exactly what you want out of life. I challenge people to think of a more natural lead into making a connection with two girls whom you just took their picture. |
