okay guys went out for my 3rd solo sarge last night, trying to work on the things I've learnt over the past two sarges. Plan for the night, minimise downtime, always be in or "about-to-be-in" a set to keep percieved social value high. Get into town about 10ish wearing new boots, got that "hey look at me in my new boots!" thing going on. Need to enter my target pub energised and am feeling a bit flat so pop into a dead pub (you know the one, locals only) order a tequila, drink it. And head into the target bar. A group of drunk girls dare me to leapfrog a bollard. Scamp- "okay you first" (to hb7) She makes a lame attempt, I neg her. All good clean fun Bar 1 (busy but target rich) Go to the bar and immediately open a two set next to me (hb5 and hb6) neg the hb6 about why she need such a wide bag. Does she carry a truncheon around or something? In short I keep to my plan and must have opened a dozen sets in this place (all bloke, all girl and mixed) Typical openers were; Making a comment about a tattoo/ nose ring, pendant. Asking why girls need such big bags. Getting chatting to blokes about girls But my favourite one was when I approached a couple; bloke + hb7 who were watching the tv screen with Cheryl Cole on it and asked; "Why do you think Ashley Cole cheated on Cheryl?" Man this question is like chick crack, they are all over this and guys like to talk about chezza. So it's a belting discussion opener. I give it a saucy spin with my own theory that Cheryl is probably a bit frigid and that most conventionally pretty girls are shit in the sack. (Can be used as an indirect neg for HB8+) I can see the difference to other nights as I have better social proof. One guy buys me a drink, one girl HB6 buys me a drink after we discuss her pierced clit. And one girl asks for my number as she needs a good guitarist to accompany her singing. Bar 2 (rammed) Open another couple; bloke + hb 8. General chat, she's an Air hostess. Club (only club in the town) Probably open 5 sets, none of them very successful Unsure whether my game is slipping or whether any of the girls are up for meeting anyone new. Most sets just fizzled out, I guess my game is based a lot around talking and this obviously crap for club game. Learns I can open great and hold discussions. But, Find it difficult to reach a hook point. Solo sarging in pubs rocks, but is hellish difficult in a small town club "everyone goes there to get smashed in their own little groups" Mustn't be put off by tough sets and stay in them. Need to work past the bitch shield rather than gaming hb6 and 7's Also need to be more focussed, at the moment I can get into an interaction and see where it takes me. If the girl gets into me it's cool and if she doesn't never mind. But I'd like to get to the stage where I can control the interaction and pull hot chicks who wouldn't normally be into me. That's the aim of this stuff as I see it, otherwise it's just talking to people. BUT can feel myself progressing and improving with each sarge. Any feedback welcome. Scamps |

Went out the next night too. So have now had four solo sarge nights. Each time gets easier, seriously guys well worth considering for those of us without Wings. This time I just went to the local pub to check out a band, didn't peacock or anything. To be honest it was meant to be a night off from Sarging, as i really love my music. Ended up opening Three sets, Won't bore you guys with the details. But had my first "textbook" set. Three Set (Hb6, Hb6, Hb8.5) The Hb8.5 was pretty hard work, bearing in mind it's a village pub and has lots of desparate men and not a high standard of chicks (an Hb8.5 is the equivalent of a Hb10 in a club) She threw out loads of shit tests, taking the piss out of my opener etc. But I held my frame and just used some common Negs (Mystery?) Is she always like this? Awww, you're really cute like the little sister I never had Before too long I was getting some serious IOI's (prolonged eye contact , triangle gazing) Didn't Isolate though, will do next time More experience. Getting better. Learning. Still get AA, but am pushing through it. If any of you guys are reading this thinking "how do i do this shit", just get out and have a go. No excuses. It doesn't matter if you suck, you WILL get better Scamps |

I'm glad you are improving well, and hopefully I will work up the guts to go out alone and start making my own FRs about it |

Absolutely give it a go man. The way I look at it, if you don't approach a girl how is she going know what a great bloke you are? You say you can build comfort, attraction AND have a good close rate. Think how tight your game would be with a lower Approach anxiety level. I think that is how it happens, you don't just go from having Major Approach Anxiety to BANG no longer having it. I reckon the level of anxiety you experience goes down though with experience. Thanks for the feedback dude |
