Post subject:  "The Rules of the Game" My Diary.

Hey guys,

Well after about 4 months of no luck with woman after my ex I am getting back into the Game. So i decided yesterday when I was in the bookstore to pick up the rules of the game by Neil Strauss as I loved The Game and thought this would be a nice way to ease me back into what I enjoy doing.. picking up hot girls.

So I thought I would share my experiences with you daily.

Day 1 - Really quite simple make small talk with 5 strangers. This is actually alot harder than I thought and really proved to me how much more unconfident I have become since splitting with my ex. On my lunch break I went to a supermarket to grab some lunch and thought right you have to at least talk to one person here. I grabbed some snacks and saw a guy next to me however for some reason I just didn't know what to say (I was kicking myself inside for being so stupid!! It was just small talk) so I then approached the counter and ended up having a pretty hot girl serve me.

Person 1: I thought you have to make some small talk so I just asked her what she had been up to over the Bank holiday and if she had been working and to my surprise she was very friendly and just told me she wasn't working so I replied lucky her. She asked me what I had done so we just chatted for a couple of minutes.

Person 2: This really helped eliminate any fear in me and as I was walking out I spoke to an old guy and just mentioned how it was nice to have sunshine and I bet it wouldn't last long and he replied that we were in England it never lasts.

Person 3: After work I forgot that I needed to grab some food for tonight so I headed to a different shop and as I grabbed bread I mentioned to a woman that all the bread has gone whenever i get there and she replied that she knew the feeling and she couldn't find thin bread and she likes to taste whats inbetween the bread.

Person 4: At the checkout I mentioned to a woman next to me that it is much easier to shop in the afternoon than during my lunch break and she agreed and told me she only works down the road. We got talking and I mentioned I did as well and we small talked about work

Person 5: I saw a girl who looked lost on the way home so I asked if she was Ok and she asked me if I knew where some street was but I didn't however I told her I always get lost and walked up the road with her talking about moving into my new flat etc.

Overall successful and my anxiety of approaching strangers is fading :) Very basic but a good start!

that sounds like a good plan to me, I think I'll try that tomorrow. Is there anything out there that's almost like an exercise guide for this type of thing? It would be nice to have almost like a "workout routine" for building towards being more social, especially with women.

Day 2- Ok today I was a bad PUA and didn't really have the chance to complete my mission of talking to 5 strangers and making eye contact with them. I was busy with work and literally had to rush back home after however I have completed the self help exercise and also listened to self help mp3 which actually made me feel light and as if i was hypmotised (weird)! So I have decided I am going to combine the 5 stranger exercise with tommorows and do my damn hardest to achieve it.

Will let you know how exercise + day 3 has gone tommorow!
