I think the primary difference from AFC to PUA is that the PUA has a plan of action. Once you know (not intellectualize it but really know it) its hard to imagine others not knowing it, and even more of a disconnect to act like you don't know it. Take driving for example when you get into the car with a 16 year old and there really driving quite poorly your like "don't mash on the breaks press them gently so we don't skid to a stop." Common info for those of us that have been driving for a while; new information for a novice driver.

While you can change your clothing or body language to pose as an AFC it will be hard to shut off the internal voice that says "Its time to lock in; ask her to stand up and then steal her chair, tell her your only going be be here for a few min any way."

Another Note about last evening:
I made this mistake last night I "hit to close to home" that is when I or any other PUA hits on an employee or a person that thy HAVE to see again over an over. Think hitting on a co-worker or in my case a hair stylist at the barber shop I like to go to.

Field report: 01/28/2010 PUA Name: 0rion SET: Barber Shop. Time: 8:00pm I went in to the place and got a hair cut was talking with Erica while talking about sales techniques while in there I notice the target sweeping and taking interest in me (buying signs) continued to fluff Erica through the process of the hair cut. Erica noted that that is seemed like I knew what I was doing with women having told her about a few of the dates I had been on. I told her that I train others how to date (huge mistake ego and pride pump both of those accumulate fear and build an explication of performance that adds to pressure in this case it caused desperation to prove myself that soured the hit) Finished hair cut paid and approached the target Meet: PUA: You have been giving me a lot of buying signs come over here and get to know me Target: What???? PUA: you know a buying sign of sing of positive interest <= NOTING THE PUA TACTICS UP FRONT TO THE TARGET THIS IS DEATH I DON’T KNOW WHY I KEEP DOING THIS; THIS IS THE 3ED HIT IN 90 DAYS I HAVE DONE IT ONE AND EVERY TIME IT TURNS COLD. I CANT USE THE FRONT DOOR I HAVE TO DO A FLANK SHOT OT BUILD INTEREST. Tried to use a few set openers and light jokes but it was going NOWHERE. Remember if they like you they help you, I wasn’t getting helped. I should have rolled off what the fck what thinking, was thinking??? PUA: well beauty is common I was to see if you have any brains to go with that Target: Nope sure don’t they all leaked out of my head as a kid. DEAD-END! PUA: Have you ever meet some on and felt totally comfortable. Target: Nope never had. DEAD-END! I had no idea what to say it was like being a fucking AFC all over again I actually felt nervous and afraid for the first time in a long time. WTF is going on?!?! PUA: Well I never get rejected I only see if a woman has bad taste. Target: Well sorry I’ve been such a disappointment PUS: Yes you have been Walked out embarrassed and confused thinking what the fck was that I never turn nasty when a set goes bad. Notes: I was exerting WAY 2 much effort and putting way to much emphasis to on the hit going my way I wanted to look like a big man and pull in front of all the other woman and show off my game. Note turned nasty at the end of the hit, lost control of my emotions was TOO HEAVILY INVESTED IN THE OUT COME!!!! TURNED TO FEAR OF EMBARRASSMENT AND LOST CONTROL There was no purpose to the sets I had nowhere to go I was intimidated by her beauty and landed flat footed. I lost my place of equanimity and moved in to the set from a place of desperation Remember you can’t force the targets to like you have to draw them in by convincing them you’re the best game in town. I didn’t even have that mind state going into the hit. I wasn’t in the right made state from the start; mind state I need to maintain before during and after is: • Playful • Fun • Screening • Confident • Self-Control • Challenge • Sigh….today’s failures WILL lead to tomorrows success! KEEP TRYING 0! you are mastering the tools, tactics, insights, timing and behaviors that are giving you irresistible attraction with the women you desire! Need help guys any help will be welcome.

Thanks for posting. I can reconize this in my own behaviour. I have noticed that when i come across as just a really fun guy, i get more succes then when i come across as a succesfull guy when it comes down to women. Women seem to really like men who have it all but who have never used it. Women would rather have a wonderfull virgin than a cocky player. It is a defence system, they want a person that can love them, and not someone than can run off to the next. But, because we are men, and we like to talk about what fasinates us, we pua usually like to talk about pu. But when talking to a girl, it is a really bad subject! The best thing is to never mention any other girls. When you mention an other girl, they inmediately feel cheated, and they become super aware. It is in their system. Too bad we have made that mistake both. I'm just scared that i'll have a bad reputation, because it might spread amongst them that i'm a player. I'm thinking of trying making those girls normal friends, so i can restore my image. If they think of me as just a friend, they might even think: "why isn't he interested in me?". Later on, i might even be able to use them as pivots. What are your thoughs on that? I'm thinking of becoming an "trojan horse pua" for a little while and even change my clothes. Acting like a really fun AFC, and getting them to game on you. BUT, it just doesn't feel safe, no one else has done it before me, right?

Talked with a few of my wings sent out some reports to other PUA's we are going hitting again tonight. Did my affirmations. Woke up it was new day got on a fresh suit. The rejection hurt less. I'm ready to try again the next target I see. I'm a PUA and like any ARTIST I have to hone my craft. I don't have an iron clad rule on using women in my sets to build attraction or as a prop to open. I should note that many times I refer to the woman (be her real or fake) in a way that allows to show that I'm pre-screened by women in general but not romantically involved. So do examples would be: 1) I need a female opinion my sister (I don't have a sister) is thinking of getting a tattoo of her boyfriends name on her arm and shes only 19.... move to gambit. 2) Do you think that a girl kissing another girl is considered cheating; I have a friend that swears and she swears up and down its not I'm not so sure. 3) Approach a very attractive woman at a bar on any other social gathering and say I need your help with something thing. My girl friend is your same body type and has a similar sense of style to you and her birth day is coming up do you have any idea on what I could get her. <= now this last one locks you out with HER but any woman watching; and they DO watch will see the DHV of you approaching the HB and established great report that will really open some doors for you in latter sets. I wouldn't change my bodylanguage though, but perhaps i'm going to wear an outfit that is less like a player, less styled. I think it is very important to not let the player shine true, because girl are very wary of that. A reputation as a player is the last thing you want.

I'm in agreement. I wear a suit for work and that sets me apart from many men when I go out in the evenings. I wouldn't go so far to say its a peacock move but I do like to be slightly more well dressed then the average. I think that that helps in success in the physical attraction test.
