I got into the game 2 weeks ago, introduced by "The Game" by Neil Strauss. Ever since I have been working on my game, making me an rAFC. I still haven't had any actual physical progress with a girl since joining the community. I haven't kissed anyone in the past 2 weeks, haven't got laid. My social progress is till bumpy, with some off days and some on days. Something that has changed is the way I interact with people. I am constantly thinking now of how I can use the game to interact with, say, a group of friends, or a group of girls I don't know. Sometimes this pays off, but more often than not (so far) I tend to over analyze my interactions, and say less than I would otherwise. I think too much now, I have noticed. I still haven't mastered the application of game. A more positive aspect is that I have noticed my confidence has boosted tremendously. I walk around with a swagger now, always smiling (or at least with a positive presence) and I talk to almost everyone. I am still a little intimidated by the kids I would never talk to before, but I have talked to more people I don't know than I would ever think of doing before. Today, though, I talked to a cashier at a pharmacy and it was more than just "how are you" "good" "good." I think she showed some IOIs. Anyway, how do you rate my progress so far? How can I improve faster? |

For 2 weeks your doing great! Start approaching and getting over your Approach Anxiety, and work off that. Good job keep it up! |

A great thing to learn is stopping to ask us of opinions on your progress. Sure it is tempting, but self-confidence comes from within and what we say shouldn't really affect you. Anyways, keep on gaming;) - Exerio |

Seems like your opening yourself up to new experiences which is a good thing. I got a question for you though. When you say Quote: I am constantly thinking now of how I can use the game to interact with, say, a group of friends, or a group of girls I don't know.
Whats the game you keep referring to in those statements? I'm assuming its the stories and broad topics they cover in the book.Sometimes this pays off, but more often than not (so far) I tend to over analyze my interactions, and say less than I would otherwise. I think too much now, I have noticed. I still haven't mastered the application of game. If so, theres better material than what you'll find in The Game floating around the community now and it would help your better understand some of the concepts in The Game. |
