I made little progress on PU in the last 6 months, really I had hardly started. I had planned a 9 week trip to Australia last year, and am finally here. For some reason, once traveling, its like a switch has flipped and I have finally made some progress on PU. I spent the first couple weeks in surfers paradise, which is a pretty major party town. I went out 8 nights in 9, and had several excellent nights, plus several (in retrospect) missed opportunities. At home my success with strangers was minimal, like a couple KC's at clubs and one pickup that became a GF for a while. My first night out, I isolated a platinum blonde swede. I only got the BF speech from her as we left the last club together, and though I attempted a BF destroyer it was weak and in retrospect I think I was actually in anyway. Unfortunately I had no phone etc. and of course she didn't call me. Every other night I either approached and isolated a new HB or hung out with ones I had met prior. The last night I was on fire, showing up with a pivot (an old friend of mine) and working the whole club with a bunch of HBs around me all night. That night I finished by closing the hostess of one of the big clubs, with a nice natural approach. She was texting while sitting at her counter, so I teased her about texting on the job and then saying it was OK to get back to Mom. I have 6.5 weeks more to work on this, and want to work on a few things. Though I picked up quite drunk a couple nights, the best night I had I'd had 6. At that rate, approaches were really tough but I performed best overall, plus I won't survive another 6 weeks of heavier drinking. So I want to slowly wean myself off the creature. Naturally, I think I am getting so much experience that I will stop missing as many opportunities I created, which is another goal of mine. One major logistical difficulty was not having a mobile phone which made setting up day 2s difficult, so I am picking up one tomorrow. Finally, I hope that by the end of my holiday I have enough experience / nuts to really start to apply this at home. |

KCs two nights in a row: first a swede then a dutch girl. I made friends with a scottish girl prior to that and when she saw me take the swede from a club got quite jealous I think. She ended up sending me some very forward texts so I should close her when we meet up further down the coast. Before I get there I have to meet up with the swede for a couple days, this time I will make sure to have a good seduction location: no hostels the next couple days =) Travelling is really great for your game! |
