Just a quick background on me, being my first post with real substance. I started reading "The Game" Tuesday evening after I had spoken to my good friend in New Jersey. I was talking to him about how hard getting through my break up with my g/f was. He said to me "Therm, go read The Game by Neil Strauss, it will help you a lot." Off to the book store I went. I've always been a firm believer of being a gentleman. However being a gentleman gets you lots of thank yous and shoe prints on your clothing (metaphor for being walked all over) It was time to stop this pathetic existence of being the guy to go to when a girl needs something, and be the guy everyone wants to be. In my late teens and early twenties I could f-close and kiss-close with ease. I had more numbers than I knew what to do with. Then I started dating this girl I kiss closed and something happened. I had become soft, I no longer felt like I needed to go out and meet people. I dated this girl for 2.5 years, things changed and I needed to move on. I let her shape me into this out of shape 6'0 230 pound 21 year old. We broke up, I got back into shape and back on my game. Well this last relationship had me in a funk for 6 weeks after we broke up. **** Now on to the field report. **** I was planning on making me debut of getting back into the game this weekend after I finish the book which will be tonight. However I had an opportunity to give it a shot and break the approach anxiety. A parked my car in the parking lot at work which is near a big field. I see HBBlonde Body9Face7.5. She's throwing a tennis ball to her dog. I walk over to where she is, and I am greeted by her dog. I aim my body towards her dog and I over the shoulder open her with, "Your dog has a great personality." dialog is as follows HB: That's Cody Me: (Playing with dog, and showing value to HB) HB: He won't drop the ball, he'll only drop it if he trusts you'll give it back Me: (gets dog to sit and drop the ball) HB: Wow, he only does that with people he trusts Me: Looks like he trusts me HB: Do you have dogs? Me: I have all my life, I currently have 2 (Filler chat, some basic exploration questions about each other's dogs) Me: (Facing towards her, but leaning away as if I have to run back into work) Me: It's hot out here, seems like Cody is tired (Cody was laying in the grass panting) HB: I only brought him out for 10-15 minutes, I usually bring water when I bring him out for longer Me: (Calls dog over, opened my bag which had a cold bottle of water, and she sees me opening the water to pour into my hand so he can get some water.) HB: (She runs to her trunk and gets his bowl) I have his bowl! Me: (Pours water into bowl) Me: Well I have to get back into work (I start backing away) (Notice I didn't exchange or ask for her name) HB: Hey, what is your name? Me: (IOI) Therm HB: I'm Natalia HB: I'll let you go back to work, hopefully we run into each other again? Me: Or I can call you and we can make it on purpose. HB: (Turns bright red and gets flustered) My number is ............ Me: (Inside my head "Done, and done") All transpired within 5 minutes |

Good job Therm! That is a good example of Day Game type activities and how to make an interaction like that work. Tell us how it turns out. |

Nice. You made her work for it at the end. What would you have done if she hadn't asked your name or insinuated that she would like to see you again? Anyways, no follow up report? |

I would not have taken myself away from the set had I not sensed she would ask my name (I used a time constraint to pull myself from the set). Just the way she looked she had that look of being slightly nervous because she was talking to me, which tells me she's attracted and feels she is not on the same level as I have done more demonstrations of high value and she hasn't proven herself. As for a follow up. I have not yet gone out with her. Spoke to her on the phone a bit, she works nights as a Bartender and works the weekends hence her being out in the middle of the afternoon. Weekend nights are for sarging, I might try hitting her bar and see if sarging there can be a good thing. |
