So i met with 83ever from the forums who went to another college close to mine. He wanted to help me with my AA so he took me to the library where he usually talks to females. He wanted me to immediately go and talk to one of the girls sitting by herself. Now I haven't done a real approach ever, so I was so nervous I couldn't jump into yet it. So we did some warm ups. I walked around with him and said hi to random girls. I got a lot of good feedback, a lot of them responded saying hi as well, or fine thank you. Only one girl looked at me funny and I giggled. When we got back to the library, he wanted me to hit on this asian girl at the end of the library sitting by herself. He told me approach and I just couldn't do it. I knew all the things to say but I was freaking out. He kept encouraging me to go and talk to her, so when I walked passed her the first time, I choked and went the other direction. 10 min later I try again and stop half way and walk back. He later positioned ourselves behind her in another room. He told me that he'll save me after a minute of talking. So I tell him my plan, he agrees, and I go for it.
Me: (walks passed her, grabs a seat and sits down and stick arm out) Hi, I'm Blank
Her: (surpirsed) Hi Blank, I am Name.
Me: Nice to meet you. So your from around here right? I am trying to find some clubs around here but I am unfamiliar with this part of town. Do you know of cool things to do here at night?
Her: Um, well what kind of places are you looking for.
Me: Hey I don't have a lot of time, I gotta go in a few minutes, but basically we are trying to find some dance clubs. You look like a fun girl, do you have any clubs you can recommend me?
Her: Well...(thinks for like 3-5 seconds)
Me: I know my way around the pearl district (across town), and they're just full of dodgy people and the environment is terrible
Let me give you an example, where would you go on a friday night around here?Her: Hehe...well I go to a few bars down the street from here. They usually have good music and such.
Me: Very cool
.....Now I am wondering...where is my wing? I look over passed my targets head, and there he is talking to another girl. He can't save me and I don't know how to carry on this conversation anymore. So I eject myself but didn't number close.
Me: Oh, looks like I am getting a text from him...says he is in the Krammer building. Is that this building?
Her: No, this is Smith.
Me: Okay he's been waiting for me for a few min.
I'm gonna go find me.Her: okay.
Me: Well it was nice meeting you (stand up and shake hands)
Her: Yea really nice to meet you.
and i leave
no number close. but that was mah first one. So kinda glad. My wing was right though, you feel like a million bucks after you finish.
So ya, thats my story.
But the effort counts. I know exactly the feeling (we all know it) right before you are about to leave forcing yourself to ask for the number. Well, next time, just don't think about it at all, fuck the feeling and just ask with the face and attitude like there is nothing more ordinary than asking a friendly chick for her number... Why the fuck not? After all, you are expected to do it. You are a man.
