Hey
i've read bits and bobs on the website and to me it sounds like the best thing is just experience and going out there. Yesterday i went to a nightclub and gave myself a target, run game on at least 2 different groups of girls. This doesnt sound a lot but im new to this and was a big step to overcome AA. Anyway lets get down to business.
I saw 2 girls on the dancefloor and had sudden urge to run game, went up to them and said:
Me : hey, are you girls having girl time or is it just that everyguy in the club is to scared to dance next to you (credit goes to another poster, sox cant remember the name)
HB 7 : *Smiled* ive got a bf
Me : i didnt ask if you had a bf *cheeky smile*
HB 7 : Smiles back

just walked off then. i dont really see this as an approach but thought id post up.

Later on in the night i went up to a group of girls and ran the 'friend on a chatshow with the secret admirer*
the routine went well and dropped some neggin at the HB8 i was interested in, she responded by talking louder and tried to get more involved in the convo. I set up a fake time restraint and said i better get back to my m8 soon to let him know. I struggled to then shift to a DHV, i've got good DHV's but i couldnt steer the convo that way. The HB8's friend said it was nice to meet you, i smiled and walked away.

i ran the routine on another group of girls (5 friends) and have pretty much the exact same outcome. The one i wanted seemed into the convo and i reckon if i could drop a DHV i would of been in.

Any advice on how to get them to ask you 'what do you do?' so i can drop a DHV. I asked them what do they do ? hoping they would ask the same back but they never.

Anyway, last night was a big thing for me, i walked around a club on my own and went up to random groups of girls, from the front, smiling and confident.

This is the start of something big !
Big thanks to everyone on the forum !

You shouldn't be asking them what they do, that seems needy. And you are needy if you do it in hopes of having them ask you back. You should just create a DHV story that relates to your job, but doesn't directly mention it. Or if it does, there should be a reason, so it doesn't sound like bragging. The best thing is to be so intresting, that they will want to know what you do (IOI). This usually happens later in the set though, and quite often in isolation.

But it's great to see you doing that many approaches. And it also seemed like you had fun, and that's the most important thing.

cheers for the advice, makes sence what you just said.
Its almost as if as soon as you ask them what they do you become a dot on their radar instead of coming in un detected.
