Post subject:  Had my first AMOG battle

So my friend and I were talking to these two girls, and their three male friends showed up. Everything was cool at first, until my friend and I tried to start this group game called Snaps (cool DHV group game btw). Everyone was enjoying it until the opposing AMOG decided he didn't like it. I protested and said not to be lame, and he responded by half jokingly saying he would throw my sandwich in my face if I said it again (luckily the girls were in the restroom when this happened). This really caught me off-guard, because we had spoken before and he seemed like a cool guy. I hate negativity, so I let it go, but I would soon regret it.

This fucker started stealing my fries. I warned him to stop, but kept doing it, so I moved them to the edge of the table away from him. He did it again, so I engaged a couple sitting on the opposite side, gave them the fries, and had a really fun conversation. I was actually done with the fries, but I wasn't going to let him run me over like that. Looking back, I should have dropped them on the floor.

So when it came time to leave, my friend and I (who had also opened his own set) returned to the table and said goodbye to everyone. I turned to the AMOG and like Borat said "HIGH FIVE", but he wasn't having it. He wanted to shake hands, and for a moment we had a stare off over who would give in. This is where I got the last laugh; instead of shaking his hand, I grabbed his wrist, wrenched his hand up in the air and high fived it. Everyone else high fived me willingly.

I made some mistakes in the beginning by being too nice, but I think I stood my ground in the end. Overall, it was a good learning experience.

Seems like you handled it well overall though! Didn't let him run over you.

Hmmm, I think you stood your ground. But remember, you can get away with a lot of stuff without getting beat up, especially in a public place.

Just some thoughts:

Too bad (according to me) that the girls were in the restroom, he would have lost social value to say that in front of them. You could have come back with, no thanks Im full, or I hear mayonaise is good for your skin, you might wanna try it yourself.
And kept entertaining the girls.

Never move away from an AMOG, that is a sign of weakness. Stand your ground. Ask him, does my fries taste good? No matter what he says grab his sandwich and take a big bite. Or hold one of the fries up saying, hey just because I have a long stiff thing it doesnt mean that you can put it in your mouth.
