I decided this after my oneitis, that I'm finally over. I went out with that chick, the one from my previous post, for those of you who don't know I fucked up, when hammered, and then later fixed it.

We dated for a week, everything was going great. I was confident, if not too confident, and noticed that she thought I was only trying to get in her pants, I realize now that I shouldn't have cared at all. So, I chilled on the cockiness, and was a respectful nice guy. On Tuesday she made me dinner and I told her I was going to bring her to our local city, and kept my plans a secret. So everything seemed to go great that night, and both of us were happy. Then on Wednesday we went to the dance classes we had been going to, and she was distant and didn't talk. She called me, couldn't even say it to my face, and said, "I'm not in a place to have a relationship 'right now', and I don't think I can give you the love you need."

Now let it be known I never dropped the L bomb, and notice how she seemed to leave it open to continue later.

I don't really know whats up, but I was told by mutual friends that I scared her, and they thought she was assuming I was getting to attached. I find this theory humorous, because I was just looking to have some fun and she thought I was attached after a week. Well, I feel taking the nice guy approach is never the answer, and giving respect when it's not earned is not an option either. I'm planning on sticking with the fuck and chuck motto for awhile, there is no point in me having a relationship, the majority of my close friends are hot chicks, where I get none of the action and all the BS, so all I'm really looking for is sex I guess.

The worst thing is, I now realize, is that she held me back on some of my plans, which will also never happen again.

:wink: Hey you still have to have a life of your own remember that. Giving her two dates in less than a week, let alone day-after-day :?: is kind of pushing the relationship. Brush yer self off, don't get angry with the girl learn from this. Don't beat yourself up you just gave her too much attention thats it. Next time you feel a girl know's you're trying to get in her pants, release the chick from having the pleasure to talk to you, she will think on so many levels about why you stopped calling 1. How come he stopped calling, does he not like me? 2. How come he stopped calling, I was right he's a jerk, 3. How come he stopped calling, he must have other girls I miss him. :arrow: Hey or she just might not give a damn :P All in all you just need to do what you are doing but with restraint of trying to bang da chick so quick. Most long lasting sexual relationships are friendships @ first you already proved to be a good friend to some hott HB'S, keep practicing and falling on yer ass.

You're right on that. I realized it as soon as it happened, why would she make it that we were officially going out when she thought I was just trying to get in her pants anyway? I figure she 1. Wanted to get in my pants, 2. She thought she could change me, or 3. She was playing me. either way I have far more insight on what to do now, and I've seemed to have lost my approach anxiety and fear of rejection after all of this, so it should be easier to deal with from now on.
