I walked into the local HEB, a grocery store in San Antonio, and I'm talking on the phone with a fellow pickup enthusiast in Chicago. We motivate each other and I told him I may do an approach in the store. I saw my first target and I told him "there she is, I'm walking towards her......now I just passed her". The words couldn't exit my mouth even though I knew what I was going to say. So I later found another one, a white brunette 8,and completely and instinctfully put the phone in my pocket and asked " hey are those lemon pies?" And we continued to talk about that subject and she was sooo down to talk for awhile I could tell. The time came where I had to keep the momentum going because she stood there expectantly waiting for my next conversational thread, and I just couldn't take the pressure of the silence and ejected. Overall I'd say the approach was good because of her great positive reaction towards me but I know I could've done better than to just eject at the first sign of weakness in the interaction. |
