Post subject:  The AMOG from Hell and how I destroyed him.
Location: House party, Florida
*Fairly decent mix of men and women

Now I should start by stating that I was setting myself up for disaster because I brought this jock douche bag to the party in the first place. I knew that the kid didn't have anything going on that night, and that he would probably be a challenge for AMOGing (one of my sticking pts.).

Here is one of the sets he tried to ruin:
I was joking around with this HB8 about how she has a wikipedia article dedicated to how she "innovated the doggy style position, and made it what it is today." <----hilarious thread by the way.
Douche bag jock was positioned to our left and wasn't even trying to be subtle in trying to ruin my set. Anytime I'd go C/F, he'd start going "Oh man you are sooo gay." Now this could have derailed the set but here is what I did and what you should do if you find yourself in a similar situation. When the AMOG behaves negatively, punish them subtly by slowly freezing them out of the conversation. I slowly started turning my back to him and getting between him and the target, and kept up with making the girl laugh. Once I decided he had overstepped his boundary enough I didn't act on my impulse to break his nose (I have a rather short fuse). Instead, I made sure I was mid sentence and started walking around the target. She turned to me and the AMOG was behind her. It's subtle, but has devastating effect on the AMOG. He was effectively removed, and looked like an idiot for talking with nobody responding to him.

Later I found myself in another situation that required me to quietly defend my honor. I opened another HB8 in one of the bedrooms where people were hanging out. I was DHVing by guessing where she bought all her clothes, and then other guys saw how responsive she was being and thought that they'd give it a go. Suddenly out of nowhere there were 3 other guys talking to this chick, 1 of which I got the feeling knows about The Game. They all tried to hijack my thread by talking about her clothes, which would have killed the conversation. So I waited quietly for one of them to get blown out then tried a variation on what I did with the other AMOG. Once again, during mid-sentence, I moved the target away from obstacles. This time, I grabbed her hand and positioned her to be only facing me.

This is a subtle and great way to blow out your adversaries. Just make sure you are always mid sentence and have DHV'ed. Happy hunting.

What if they get violent with you and try to jostle their way in? I know if that happened to me back when i was AFC I would try to do that

Now this didn't happen to me, but I had quite a weapon that would have made him sorry for trying to physically get involved with the conversation. Once again, I would go the more covert route. I would have simply leaned in to the girl and whispered: "It looks like he's really DESPERATE to talk to you," and then just walk away. This way he has no idea you are setting him up for disaster, so you can't be blamed for ruining his chances. The fact that the word "desperate"is used automatically instills negative connotations about the AMOG and will set him up to be blown out of the set within the first 2 minutes. Then you could just go right back in pick up where you left off.
*You could also DLV him by making a gay joke or something.

Another strategy you can use is something I learned from this guy I met randomly one night who is an instructor in training for Mystery Method seminars. He says when the AMOG approaches the set, he likes to tell the girls: "Hey, I don't think you guys are right for me, but you should talk to this guy." Let him hear it, and you'll set him up for a really awkward conversation. He won't have a clean slate and he will have to live up to some expectation.
*Make sure that you have been very energetic and have been showing them a good time. Be smiling when you say this.

That's good stuff. It could be really usefull in the bars or any place where a lot of people are crammed together.
I used to try to position myself between the girl and the obstacle/AMOG but having a girl turn her back on him sounds much better and less confrontational.

I like what you said about telling her he's desperate to talk to her, I think that would work quite well. I got AMOG'd the other night and he positioned himself in between me and the target, I couldn't really get him out of the situation. If I had just walked by her, and whispered that to her as I stood the other side, I'm sure she would have blown him out (she ended up giving him a number, which she told me was fake, but who knows?)
