I was at Hooter's. Hot bartender (obviously because she works at Hooter's)...

Me: Do you think it's okay to end a relationship over text message?
Her: I don't know. Not really. I mean, it's kind of immature. What did she do?
Me: No, she ended it.
Her: It depends. Did you do something real bad like cheat on her?
Me: No.
Her: Well I think that's kind of immature.

..... then nothing....

But the point is that I see the value in these openers and I will probably repeat that to about 1000 people over the next few months. All you need is 1-3 good openers.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how they would have taken it from there?

Only thing I could think of was "so do you go out a lot?"

That's kind of boring, though.
