| Post subject: | Another 3 approaches and another number close! |
Well sort of a number close. First approach I was walking from my car park to my work place when I saw an asian girl (HB7) walking in front of me. She had a tattoo on her upper back ... pretty clear to see but I wasn't sure whether it was a butterfly or an angel. I was honestly curious about what it was so I asked her what it was. She said it was Jesus! Ok, I was taken back by this so I asked if she was Christian. She said she was Catholic and we talked about the tattoo a bit. She said it was to remember her grandfather. I made some conversation but she was a bit guarded so I said have a nice day and walked past. Analysing this approach I think I may have been put off a little by her being guarded. Plus to be honest she was not really my type and I just wanted to see if I could talk to someone about ... well anything. After all I'm playing the game! Second approach As I walked further down the street I saw a short but very top heavy girl (HB6+) walking with what looked like a sketch pad in a bag. I started the conversation by asking her if it was heavy because it looked like it was weighing her down on one side. She laughed and said it was not heavy. I asked if she was an art student and the conversation went from there. There was a lot of humour in the conversations but it was hard to walk down the road and maintain any eye contact. In the end I got quite close to my workplace and contemplated number closing. I felt that she would have been keen to meet up but I did not number close. I was a little chicken as I was too close to work and if anyone saw me I'd not hear the end of that! Still, I was pretty pleased with my effort of making easy conversation and most importantly making the girl laugh. Third approach This was my most impressive approach ... yet disappointing close. I went for a walk after lunch to a bookshop. I looked around and missed one opportunity to approach HB7. So I just casually walked around to an adjacent coffee shop and spotted HB9+. Now this girl was stunning. I am talking model looks. Big blue eyes, perfect skin and the most beautiful mouth you'd ever see on a woman. An opening presented itself as she was reading a page on Delhi (city in India) and being of Indian origin I just jumped at the chance and asked, "are you traveling to India?". She said she'd just come back from there. I took the opportunity, pulled up a chair and started asking about her trip. She was more than happy to tell me everything. I made her laugh numerous times and kept eye contact always. She did as well. I noticed her pupils dilated although I suspect she was wearing contacts. I cannot be sure ... but I do watch out for these tell-tale signs that a girl is interested. During the conversation I negged her a teased her a couple of times making her laugh. She was a very nice girl although I feel that she had probably been approached before and had dealt with PUAs. In the end I said I've got to shoot and that I would love to catch up sometime, how about I grab your number. Then the bombshell ... although it was to be expected, she hit me with she already had a boyfriend. I had the perfect response to this though and I said, "hey I didn't ask you to marry me!". Again this made her laugh and she said sure no probs and I handed her my phone and she punched in her digits. So I guess I did number close but I don't count this as a number close as it will amount to nothing as she is fairly established with her boyfriend. I am not the home-breaker type and so I am not sure what I will do with her number. She said she was keen to catch up for a coffee and talk more. If I might just bring up the point that I feel this girl may have dealt with approaches before. She was always friendly but I did not see her do any of the other tell-tale signs a girl does when she likes you. Ok, she maintained eye contact and laughed a lot but I could not help but feel she was ... well for want of a better word, measuring me. She was very confident. What are your thoughts? |
