Post subject:  Didn't encourage her to talk more about herself

I talked to a girl this evening.

1. I didn't neg her, I didn't false disqualify myself to her. But I didn't noticeably try to please her, either.
2. I demonstrated more than enough high values. I did A2 for long than necessary.
3. When she expressed her liking which was different from mine(I like Japan, while she said that she didn't like Japan), I didn't argue with her, but I tried to explain why Japan was good(Why I liked Japan), I didn't simply say, "I understood.".
4. When she talked about herself, I didn't encourage her to talk more. This was the biggest mistake I made. I am wondering how I can naturally encourage a girl to talk about her good points? Do you have any ideas?

You can make light compliments about the "good points" and ask her questions that encourage her to tell you more... something along the line of "wow, a dental hygienist... I always wondered how can you get your teeth whitened for a longer period of time"... or "wow, you are into volunteering... what is your favourite charity?" or to keep it simple:

"wow, you [insert good point]... I always wondered how [insert good point specific question]"

this should get her talking for the better part of your date about herself, and make you look like a good listener... good luck!

To get a girl to talk more, you need to hit on one topic that she will ramble on and on about.

Every girl is different; some love movies, others love pets. Just gotta discover what they love.
