Ok so let me start with this, i have read "the game " like most people in this forum and i have read some material here and there but just the basic's and this my fist post ever so here is what i have done and learn so far, hope you can help me understand and get better.
English is not my main language.
So i start working on my anxiety a few months back out of pure fun i start talking to random strangers and girls that look interesting but i never take it into the dating game it was just some casual conversation, this is my first real experience trying to do this in the field, anyway i meet this girl let call her "Caroline" she is European and gorgeous!! big curves just delicious... i have not other way to put it :p . Caroline is a friend of a friend of a friend of mine i meet her at a small gathering i was not expecting to meet someone in here so im on my usual clothes (jeans, tshirt and a hoodie ) you have to understand that most of my friends are really nerdie guys, very loyal but not a great bunch to go out at night to pick up chicks, so Caroline enters the room and everyone is like "damn this chick is hot what is she doing here??" so immediately after she sits down on the table two of my friends try to pick her up, which ends up badly since they are trying to hard to win her attention one of them even try's to hug her later that evening which she responses by pushing him away in a funny way so he doesn't feel bad... anyway im sitting there watching my friends trying to work the magic and thinking of the best approach to make this work, i start to get really nervous and the only thing i could remember about ALL the books and ALL the articles i have read was... " Do not pay her attention, talk to the friends instead and keep the conversation going" no routines no nothing!! ... So i start talking to her friend, a girl that i already knew from previous time about random things books, movies and not really paying much attention to Caroline i sometimes add her to the conversation but never really allowing her to take control of it, she is the kind of girl that reads a lot, listen to weird classic and metal music and knows a lot about it, kind of like your classic metal/nerd girl so a little later Caroline try's to get my attention by talking about a part of here body that she thinks is beautiful/sexy and ask for my opinion which i response "they are beautiful" but i immediately move on, never really paying much attention to it, i was looking for a way to get her number or something... at this point i think i was just ignoring her and didn't really know what to do next... it was so frustrating i was losing my chance with this girl!!, later that evening Caroline starts to get a little worried since she has to get home early because her "boyfriend" is expecting her at home (they live together)... and i was like "Damn i'm losing my time ....
", but she doesn't really want to leave since she is having a great time (nerdie guys and all but we are a fun bunch) everyone convince her to stay a little longer and... out of the blue... and with out thinking... i tell her i can give her a ride home later, she thinks about it and call the boyfriend to convince him to let her stay a little longer, he complains but let's her stay. The rest of the night i stay on the same patter and talk very little to her...anyway ... end of the night , im giving her a ride home and since she lives very far away we have time to talk .. i start talking ... a lot... but in a relax confident way but nothing sexual even when it was just too easy to make a comment in that way( i always keep that in mind ) i ask her a lot of questions and she does the same, eager to keep the conversation going, then the boyfriend call her.. he is mad.. since its a little bit late she start telling him that she loves him and she only went out to have a little fun and had done nothing bad, the mood change, she is angry... starts talking about her boyfriend but i don't let her, my only comment about this was "confidence in one and other is important " we continue talking about a lot of things we start laughing and making jokes about one and other and I start giving her hints that it will be cool to go out sometime since we like a lot of the same things, just before i drop her at the front door i ask for her phone, she gave it to me... (HOORAY !! YES 10 POINTS FOR MEE)... I was thinking on calling her after the mandatory three days to ask her out on a date or something... but... she call me first in day 2 to thank me about giving her a ride home we talk a little but not much since i was busy. I'm thinking about asking her out this week and im looking for some advice and feedback on how to do it and this experience in general, what do you think of the girl ? what did i do wrong ? should i persue ?.Thanks for reading !!!
