| Post subject: | Learning to live a Man's life. |
Hi all, In retrospect, I've lived the life of an omega. I've retreated from socializing with anyone, hidden in my room to play computer games for days on end and once gotten so fat that I couldn't fit into my pants. If there were a checklist for becoming a social leper, then I can say with confidence that that list would be well nigh done. And what more can I say? Being a social leper is easy, its the path of least resistance; there is no effort involved at all. All I had to do was read the board occasionally and delude myself into believing I was improving. It is ridiculously easy to stay that way, in isolation until the day you wake up a 50 year old hermit. But I've obtained a second chance. New country, new start. No one knows me, no one remembers me as a weird recluse or an obese coward. It's a fresh take on life, and I would be a fool to waste this opportunity. So here is what I intend to do. Feel free to check in on how close I am to achieving them. My primary objectives are as such: 1) Excel in my studies. This is my investment in myself. 2) Lay the foundations of a strong social network and professional contacts; thus future wealth. 3) Become a man will full control over his life. One that does not cede to procrastination or sloth. 4) Obtain physical fitness and develop strong confidence in myself. 5) Cease Masturbation 6) Maintain this field report, twice weekly. My secondary objectives include: 1) Becoming a Trilingual (Picking up Chinese or Japanese) 2) Padding my resume. 3) F- closing at least 3 times before years end. It is evident that actually sleeping with ladies isn't my highest priority. I believe that getting control of my life and working towards qualifications and wealth will reap greater rewards - and the ladies will follow after. Lastly, it is an absolute pleasure to be in fellow ship amongst like-minded people, like the good men on the board who encouraged me to start a field report up. If nothing else, it will get me to review my own life more. Allen . |
