| Post subject: | Didn't go for the pull, left too early, ruined wing chances. |
BACKGROUND: A friend I was with earlier in the evening calls me at around 3PM to join the group he was in. The "other girl" wasn't too bad so I went. He was with 2 girls and a guy who was half sleeping (let's not count him). 1st CLUB I quickly had "my girl" sit close to me and start a good conversation with some kino. Since it was late, it was going good and she was drunk, I would have normally gone for the pull once out of the bar, but since I didn't want to leave this friend stuck with the other girl and a guy, I went after him to another club. Notice: Out of the bar another girl asked me to join her and her friends (it never happens to me, but just this night I couldn't... ), she was cuter and I would gone if I were alone, but I didn't want to leave my good friend. 2nd CLUB In the other club my girl went to the dance floor and came back that she was talking with a huge guy and she went to sit with him. She then came back, only to leave again with him once he invited her. In both occasions they were in front of us, nothing was happening, but to me it clearly meant she was really into him. I didn't like her too much, but I would have done her. I felt I had lost my window of opportunity and also lost my hedge by having lost my good mood: I had an option with a cuter girl in the first bar, I would have gone for the pull earlier, I wasn't drunk and I was tired... Basically, I was stuck in a situation where I wasn't behaving like I normally would. Now I was also being constantly shown in my face how that guy was filching "my girl". So I left soon afterwards in spite of my friend strongly insisting for me to stay. WHAT HAPPENED An hour later or so my friend tells me to join them for breakfast, but I get there too late. The girls had already left. "my girl" didn't go with the big guy from the 2nd club and my friend tells me I've done a huge mistake leaving because after a whole night together, he was really close to the other girl and my girl wouldn't have left what was now "our group" to go with a stranger. He was actually right. The 2 girls and the sleepy guy left all together and nothing happened. Not even my friend. And very possibly, also because of my fark up of leaving too early and, what I really regret, not following my own instinct and agreeing to go the second club against my will. LESSONS LEARNED 1. take your chances by being bold (girl asking me to join her group after 1st club, I should have told her "I like you, but I want to be alone with you", just to try it..) 2. don't guest stuck in situations you don't like because you will lose your mood and do badly(agreeing to go to 2nd club) most of all: 3. Friends are friends, but don’t get drawn in their own pick-ups losing track of what you feel like: follow YOUR game! YOUR FEED PLEASE -Was I guilty for having ruined my friend's chances? -Was my friend right in telling me to stay? In the end he was right, but the girl was being moved around by the big muscle guy, why should I have stayed there feeling bad about it and partially disrespected by her? -What do you think about this? |
