Hi all, So there's this girl at my gym with a BF. I'd say she's an HB8. Either way I wanted her. Everytime I go in there I neg her and tease her about not working hard enough etc. That went on for a few weeks. I didn't know if she was interested as I'm so new to this. I went out on Friday to this fundraiser thing and I was there with a couple of mates and she's in the extended friend circle. So after a couple of drinks I started running openers and DHV routines on all the sets in the bar. Palm reading, kino escalation, compliance testing. The best reaction yet to the ESP routine - "OMG how did you know, I'm so freaked out right now, blah blah blah". Priceless. We then move onto the pub and this girl from the gym is there too. Start talking to her at the bar and she basically says in no lesser words "I want to fuck you right now". Ok I can deal with that. I then asked her to elaborate. She said she was jealous - I can only assume that was me social proofing earlier at the fund raiser and paying her no attention. Anyway we went out back to toilets and found a storage room and I bent her over the freezer and fucked her there. End of Friday sarging - felt awesome. Now the real reason I'm posting here is to ask about neg I gave to a drunk Indian HB8 in the pub. I went to the toilet, came back and she was sitting chatting to my mate. He went to the toilet so I told her to come sit next to me on the sofa. We had some small talk then go onto her age. I made her jump through some hoops before she found out mine. She said she was 31 - I then negged her and said with a cheeky smile on my face, "thoight you looked more like 35". She then kicked my arm - thought IOI. I said "woah hands off the merchandise". She said "what merchandise?". Basically she then moved back to her table after seeming to be visibly insulted by my neg. What did I do wrong here? Should I have followed it up when I saw she was quite insulted by "are you always this serious? I was just teasing!" Then given her a kino push or something. Or do some when due to their low self esteem just take negs way too seriously sometimes? Please help. Thanks. |

Wow, she was probably 40. LOL. Sometimes it's a problem of negging, but not having a playful look in your eye. Probably she just thought you were being rude. When I neg there is always a smile coming along fairly quick. It's a good line, I'd try it again with another girl and see if it's just isolated or if it doesn't work well. Anyway, I think you really just wanted to brag for fucking that hotty.  Props to you. That's great.

Hi Smushed Yeah it was a bit of both heh. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I tried to do it in a cheeky way with a grin but I guess it didn't work lol. Also have tried the line before on someone else but she was a but younger and that went ok - still got kicked but she took it well. Maybe this one had a thing about her age or it was too soon to neg her or my approach sucked  Anyway thanks! |

Maybe the learning point here, and I don't have the answer, is why you couldn't recover it? Probably after the insult and then the cocky remark she thought asshole instead of valuable. Also, she was drunk so maybe like texting she wasn't able to read the humor. When you think back what about her behaviour at the end should have clued you to how she was viewing you? |

Yeah I'm pretty much 100% sure she thought asshole  How would I recover from that? |

First, IMO when a girl hits you or kicks you it's an IOI, which deserves positive feedback or none. I wouldn't neg a girl that IOIs me. I think the hands off lineups good when a girl makes some kind of advance. Think back a bit. She didn't give you any signs that maybe you didn't realise that you should have noticed. A long shot, but maybe as she got up to go you could grab her hand and say, "no, I'm sorry, I meant 34 and smiled at her". |

@J- Dude, the neg was too fucking harsh and strong! Not that it's a bad neg, but the delivery, timing and tonality had to have been off. For future reference; never neg a girl on her age in that way. You neg her by presuming that she's too young; not too old or older. For instance, you'd neg an HB this way: HB: "I'm 25 Socialkenny PUA: "What! I need to see some I'd! I swore you were jail-bait and probably snuck in the club". That is a perfect neg the other way (presuming that she looks younger). Sure you can neg a girl by saying she looks older, but you have to know the right time and situation to do it. This was too early in the game with the Indian girl. Had this been 15 minutes down the line when she would've been invested; then fine! As a newbie; stay off the hardcore negging until you're more calibrated, congruent and seasoned. In the in-field video below, I'd negged this random virgin I was chatting up at a food joint. I was somewhat harsh to her, but it didn't backfire as in your case. Great advice, thank you! Yeh I think I need to work on my negs. I need a lot more field experience Also isn't the point of a neg also to lower her self esteem slightly so that she doesn't think you are trying to chat her up? |

Yea, that is 1 of the reasons for a neg, but you weren't that good at it that time. Also isn't the point of a neg also to lower her self esteem slightly so that she doesn't think you are trying to chat her up? There are 2 negs which are grenade negs which will kill your set immediately if not done right: 1.) Negging a girl on her age 2.) Negging a girl about being fat Newbies should avoid using those 2 negs. They require massive amounts of field experience. You can still use them, but just know that you will loose the girl more times than not. |
