This was a seminar in Charlotte, NC conducted by The Wild One this past weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Here’s the breakdown to this amazing weekend, what I learned about pick-up, how I got deeper in to the community, and how I have a new perspective on pickup techniques and lifestyle.
I arrive at my hotel in uptown charlotte at 1:00pm on Friday. I had committed to going to this seminar roughly two weeks ago, and leading up to the weekend, Wild One called me a few times to discuss what we would be doing, where I was currently in my game and what I was trying to get out of the seminar.
Wild one is already there waiting for me with another student for the weekend when I get to the hotel. We settle down in the hotel room and after some small talk, get down to the ‘in class’ part of the seminar. The three-hour class was tailored to the two of us students, we both have had some mild background in pickup, and we didn’t waste time talking about the crap that everyone knows already, instead, we identified some of our sticking points and problems with our game, learned a few routines and fundamentals which we were going to practice in our first mission.
To break the ice between us before winging eachother and going out, we hit up a pub for some much needed food. We picked up some of Wild One’s friends , two very cool ‘naturals’ who increased our social proof even more, and we hit up our first bar.
Instead of getting in to forced, artificial sets immediately, we took our time enjoying our own time together, having some brews and chilling. I had been eager to get in to my first sets, but was a bit nervous, I was just not in the mood yet. As we all bonded, we all started having a kick-ass time. This band was setting up early and I figured, shit, why not try to get in some more social proof. I talked to the band for a while and got them to let me open up for them HAHAH!! I got one of the guys guitars and played for just less than 10 minutes or so. By this time, we had social proof coming out of our butts, obviously being the guys there who were having the most fun of anyone else. The manager was chilling out with us, and some of the hired guns were coming over to talk. Our first sets opened with ease and energy.
My first set of the night actually approached me at our table and I ran some game on her. I got blown out after 5 minutes. Got critiqued by Wild One and prepared for the next set. The second set was a 4-set of beautiful girls up at the bar. Wild One winged me for this one. It was more successful than the last one, he gave me some social proof that I felt I needed to get in to that set. After these warmup sets we were ready to bounce and get our groove on. But not before getting one more two set that I opened of HB8 servers on the way out, getting to A3. But not wanting to waste more of our time there now, we bounced.
We picked up another PUA in the area, now rolling 5 PUAs deep, we hit up a much more target-rich bar. There was a smoking-hot, easily a 10, bartender working there. Petite, slim, blonde, with absolutely amazing tits, haha, she was soon to be closed by one from our group. Wild One said “pick a set” I did, and I opened it up, and he came in a winged me in this two-set. He took the initiative and suggested the isolation, and we isolated the two girls outside. Ran game and I got one more number close.
Now that we were SUFFICIENTLY warmed up and in very high spirits, we bounced yet again to the first bar (with a totally different crown, being several hours later). This is where the game took off tonight. I opened 10-15 sets easily, each time getting critique on how to improve. There was this one little gambit that he showed me back at the hotel that I ran on an HB9. It worked like a charm and I got her Kinoing the f*ck out of me in less than 10 seconds. I have this tendencay to eject when I’m successful in order to preserve my pride, so I did. Had I had been on my own, that’da been it. But Wild One got me back in the set and I continued gaming her, got to C1, but It was so damn loud that I couldn’t hear shit and realized that game was nearly impossible at this point. It was pretty late and we were pooped, so we called it a night in order to start early tomorrow.
Saturday came and we were both pumped to get out for a full day. We grabbed some brunch and critiqued the night before. I had a game plan now, I knew what I had done wrong the night before, knew how to correct it, and practiced improving my on DHV stories. Wild One called me out on some wussie shit that I had been doing (which I hadn’t even realized) and helped me define he frame that I wanted to be in. I asked him about his successes, path to being a PUA and what his numbers were (to which I won’t disclose online, but be assured there are very good statistics and stories he’s got)
We hit up the mall for a good 4 hours of day game, starting off by getting some peacocking items (including one absolutely hilarious ‘what the f***’ trappers hat, which I was assured would get me in to more sets….oh and it did). Today was not just for my gaming, but to observe Wild One in the field….to which my respect increased exponentially.
We got in on several sets and I watched in amazement as this guy went in to a store. Asked for advice on getting a shirt, and turned it into a full game. First winning over the HB7 at the store, then the other HB7, then the HB8, (which was the last person there) I was frick’n shocked to see how they were all standing around him, fighting over him, drawing him out maps and fluff talking, giving tons of IOIs. I asked him after how the hell he got the entire store fighting over him. To which he replied ‘jelously plot line my friend’ haha. To which he would show me how to do that and get the hottest girl in the place. This went on in two other stores as well, as he won over the two HB8s in one store. I watched in amazement as they jumped through all his hoops, gave more IOIs than I could count, totally forgot about their jobs and drooled copious amounts of fluid on to the floor (figuratively speaking of course
) practicly handing over their panties. Now I’m going to tell you something very valuable that I got out of this mall experience. I assumed that a master PUA would meet a girl and get her in bed that same day. Although that’s possible, I learned thatt you frequently get buyers remorse with that, and instead, he’s developed a weekly cycle to which he’s able to full close several girls a week. I won’t get in to too much detail but basically in the mall he was going around planting the seeds for later in the week. These girls are going to remember him for certain. Basically by doing several day 1s in the first two days of the week, you plant all these potentials for mid week, where you go back and close, then are able to get a MUCH more comfortable and natural Day 2 just in time for the end of the week. I began to see much more of how pickup is a lifestyle which, when played consistently, can yield the kinds of results that this guy has.
That night, I was introduced to three other PUAs at a club that we met up with. This night was my night to shine.
I got in to the club and immediately opened up my first sets, with mixed sets. I went around and opened up several of these sets around the bar over the first 90 minutes, by which time I had socially proofed myself to where I was being bought drinks consistently. I met up with the other PUAs there, and we all bonded very quickly. There’s something so great about knowing that these other guys have gone through the same thing, and that they’re going to help you out. We all bonded very well, and by the tiem I got out of the bar, we had all exchanged contact info and talked about meeting up in the future at the Lair meetings.
By this point, I had been introduced to eight members of the community who are all very successful with women, and have some of the strongest frames and best personalities of anyone I’ve ever met. Just being around them lifts your confidence to such a high that by this time in the night, my AA was destroyed, I was socially proof both from my own effort and by the people I was with, and I was on a role. I got one k-close at this bar and three number closes, as well as several drinks bought for me and a many new friends, but being the last night, I was ready to bounce with one other PUA to the ‘happening’ club down the road.
I had always had so much trouble in the past of delivering DHV stories correctly, a serious sticking point. But Wild One was able to give me the most valuable advice on how to DHV naturally, with ABSOLUTELY NO CANNED MATERIAL, and find things in my life (instantly and on the spot) to spike in to my conversations. After learning and practicing this tonight, I was on a role and ready for this club.
Sets seemed to open magically and with absolutely no effort. I was king right now. I got in to a set while up at the bar, which turnened out to be my set for the night. I was able to escalate kino with my target and get up to A3 within less than 2 minutes, to which I isolated her on the patio.
Wild One had extensively emphasized to me the importance of multiple threading, after seeing that I was not doing this in the past field experiences, and after practicing together, I was able to easily incorporate this in my game to the point that I am able to get a conversation going and theoretically never stop it (if I were to choose). This was perhaps the most valuable lesson I learned this weekend. This allowed me to never have an ackward silence, and consitantly be able to keep my target intrigued. This worked wonders for me as I built to up to C1 and got the her making out with me, in front of her friend, who at this point was freeked out that her friend was making out with this “guy she just met” and kept trying get her to leave with her. But this girl would have none of that. She got rid of her friend and we sat together building comfort for nearly 3 hours.
At one point she tried to ‘punish’ me for a neg by giving me negative body language (obviously not serious). To which I closed her out and opened up the set next to me, creating a jealously plot line with the girl in that set, to the point where my target grabbed my arm pulled me away and started making out with me again. (I have never had that kind of success and game in cold pickup before…..EVER!!!)
Using a line taught to me earlier that day, I got her to agree to come back to my place. She was locked in with my jacket, and ridiculous trapper’s hat this whole time…..and then I made my fatal flaw. Letting her go back inside to close out her tab that her and her friend had and not going with her, and taking back my lock-in props at this time. ……… CRAP
Her friend would not let her leave, and the club was closing and they wouldn’t let me back in. She texted me to come in and take her away from her friend, but before I could, her friend took away her phone (stupid biotch) and cut her off from me. Now without my lock-ins, I was screwed.
She called me early this morning and told me her friend was being a cock-block and she was mad about it. She and I have plans to see eachothe rnext time I’m down there, by her request
Finally, this morning, I told that story to Wild One and he showed me how to get out of the cock-block zone with her friend. And next time, I’ll be prepared.
We met up at his house after I checked out and discussed the weekend, where I need improvements, and what my goals for the immediate future are.
I got invited back by one of the PUAs to stay at his place next time I come back so I don’t have to pay for a hotel.

Being introduced much more deeply in to the community, making new friends, improving my inner game and outer game, and making more progress in two days that I have made in two months on my own were only some of the highlights of this weekend.
For anyone who wants to DRASTICALLY improve their game (especially guys newer to the game), you absolutely must take a seminar somewhere. Spending all of your time reading and practicing by yourself is such a slow way to get where you want to be. I had spent all of this time studying, studying, studying and practicing routines that I was going to use when I went sarging……but what I learned this weekend was how to use next to zero canned material, study the models more efficiently without the canned examples and lines, and how to incorporate pickup in to my life, eliminating the need to go specifically sarging.
