Post subject:  Lunch with THE ex

Okay, so we all have that one ex that hurt us in some way or form. I am still, perhaps rather foolishly, still friends with mine. Up until the end of last year, however, it was always me trying to arrange something with her. This year my attitude changed and I wanted to prove a point. I told her, without giving her room to decline, exactly when and where we were meeting for lunch - no excuses.

I guess the first thing I noticed was that rather than compliment her like my previous AFC would have done, I just let her lead the conversation. She complimented me to which I just brushed aside by saying she looked very hot and flustered when previously I would have told her she looked beautiful.

So we go into the restaurant and we sit down. She says my new sense of style looks preppy and started talking about her haircut etc. I then applied a sandwich technique by following up a compliment with a neg. Told her the hair style would suit her, and that we are both going for outrageous hairstyles. Mine being preppy and hers being borderline lesbian. I do it in a jokey way of course.

We continue to laugh through lunch and I am constantly looking out the window like I have somewhere else to be. So she starts asking to show me pictures of her hair style. I said it didn't bother me. Then she joked that she could leave and I could have lunch alone if I was so bored. I said I was bored 10 minutes prior but she could pay the bill on the way out. Again, in a joking way. I'm not an asshole. We continue to laugh and catch up.

Then somehow the conversation turns to oral sex and she says how she used to give me amazing head. In the past I would have catered her ego. Now? I just casually rocked my hand from side to side and she began trying to qualify herself to me. My ex, the one who finished with me, the one who was over me, the one who constantly made out she had no time for me... she was qualifying herself to me!! She starts trying to get approval. Then tries I guilt trip. "I cant believe you said my head was rubbish". I reply by saying, "no, I said it was okay". She couldn't believe it. I throw some kino in there shortly after and run a kino routine about the reason behind wedding rings going on that particular finger.

Anyway. We carried on talking and the bill comes. I ask the waiter to split in into two. she was shocked again. Said I invited her to lunch and am making her pay half despite me telling her I have more money nowadays. I explained something very calmly to her. Last year, despite us breaking up, I got her birthday presents and gifts from Florida, (Around 100dollars) which I explain was silly of me and I won't continent the mistake. All she had to say was "meow".

I could see that she had seen that I changed the way in which I was treating her, and she didn't like it.

Now comes the freeze out. She will be first to message me. Guaranteed.

It took a while, but she messaged me today:
Quote:
Hey stranger

Hows things? Aint spoken in ages!
Her calling me stranger tells me she isn't happy that I haven't been in contact. Which she pretty much confirms in the next line.

All irrelevant now as I am over her. Although I do have Oneitus for a female friend. FML
