Hey, I've been texting PARTYGAL5 and called her last night. HER: Hello? ME: This is Paul from work! I'm on break so I only have a few minutes to talk. I just thought I can see how you're doing! HER: Awww! I'm good and you? ME: Good! So what you doing? HER: blah blah blah drinking alcohol. ME: I use to drink but not anymore since some issues. [WRONG!] ME: Hmmm...any drink you like? HER: Yeah! But what should I have beer or [name of hard liquor] ME: I think you should have [name of hard liquor] HER: Blah blah blah ME: So your partying with yourself? [Trying to use C&F but didn't work] HER: No, I have friends over. ME: Well, like I said I have to go so I'll see you tomorrow at work! I didn't really know what to say because I'm not into drinking alcohol; I use to but not anymore. The convo really suck and it sounded like she didn't want to talk to me! Everytime I talk on the phone I put my foot in my mouth and have anxiety. When I'm online and texting I have better time to think of what I'm gonna say. I'm a pretty much organized person and very rational, also analytical. What should I do for my next step; drop her or what? |
