Hey guys, I was at Big W shopping when i walked past a babe with some serious muscles going on. Having been around, I figured she must train heavily so i opened with: me - You've got some serious shoulders there, are you a fit model or something? her - hahah oh no I'm just a power lifter me- oh really? where do you train? her - blah blah me - I did a powerlifting contest a few years back, my mates are powerlifters and I lost heaps of muscle cutting for an mma fight so I trained with them to bulk up again ........ blah blah blahhhhhhh From this opening we chatted about her training, where she trains etc, i spoke about my mma and Kickboxing stuff, and i thought i had her hooked for a minute so I asked her name, shook her hand and asked her politely "hey you wanna catch up some time?" She gave me the response, "ohhh uuumm IIIIIIIII don't know" Now she didn't say no and blow me out, so I figured I was too direct or didn't build enough comfort first. She went on to suggest that we might see each other at the gym, so she seemed positive about it. Any thoughts or suggestions from anyone on how I could have closed this better? I was thinking maybe I could have gone for an instant date as it was around lunchtime and there are plenty of cafes where we were. Cheers Mixar |
