Hey! I just got off FALLON and felt this sinkable feeling in my stomach like I failed miserably. The convo when like this: HER: DId someone call me from this number? ME: Yeah, it's me Paul from work! HER: Oh, hey. My phone is recharging so I don't have a long time. ME: Okay...so how are you? HER: I'm good and you? ME: I'm really good actually. I had a good day! HER: That's good! ME: Did you work today? HER: Yeah. ME: When are you off? HER: Tuesday and Wednesday. ME: And you work Monday right? HER: Yup! ME: Is there anything you do besides work that is fun? HER: [laughs] [Couldn't hear what she said]. ME: Clubs? You go to clubs? HER: No! I hate clubs! ME: Yeah, those guys are just creepy trying to pick you up. HER: [Laughs] ME: You said you had kids? HER: Yup! ME: How old are they? HER: 7 and 8. ME: Oh...what about the father? HER: They have a father but he's in another place riight now. ME: What did you do ditch him on the side of the road? HER: [laughs] No. One's in Iowa and the other in Prison. ME: So basicially you have no life except for your kids and your job. HER: [laughs] yeah. ME: Well, that's not that bad! I heard plenty worst! HER: [Laughs] ME: I heard some mothers having five fathers and don't even know they're names! HER: Really? [Laughs] ME: Yeah! HER: Well, I'm not like that! ME: The reason why I was asking is because we could do something together sometime? HER: Yeah sure! ME: Is there any movies you like? HER: I like mafia movies! ME: [Thinking about Mafia movies I've seen recently to CONNECT]. HER: Haven't seen alot of mafia movies but also I'm a drama person. ME: Have you ever seen that...damn, what's that movie? It's with Jack Nicholson? It's not... HER: [Nervous laugh] Hold on a minute! HER: [Yelling in BG] WHo is it? HER: Hey, I'll call you back later. ME: Okay HER: Bye. I tried some of my skills but they weren't good enough. I don't like rehashing all these events but it will only make me stronger in the game. Did I neccessarily fuck up here guys? |

I don't see any negs or DHVs in there. Also, if it's a first date you're going for then I don't recommend a movie. Too much tension, you're sitting beside a girl you hardly know and you're sitting in silence beside her with no way to talk to her. Leave it a day and text her back with "Well have you finished that other conversation yet or are you still yakking?" If she responds, call her back and say "Okay, now where were we before we were so rudely interrupted..." |
