| Post subject: | my first pickup attempt... |
Ok, today was my brother's birthday so I went out to a restaurant/bar with him, his girlfriend and my parents. The hostess was this brunette, I gotta give her at least an 8; a HB with a sweet little ass. My first mistake was hesitating but the thing is I am in a wheelchair. So after a little bit I decided to make my move and I wheeled myself up to her when the other girl walked away and ran the "I wanted your opinion on something. We're over here talking and my brother's gf is upset because he is still good friends with his x, would you have a problem with that?" She acted totally strange...she knew I was trying to pick her up. She said "No" but was real terse and then walked away. I mean, I approached her with a smile, I made eye contact and spoke clearly, with a deep voice and confidence but she didn't even show an ounce of interest. Is it the wheelchair? How could I have done that differently? |

It could be the opener, seems like a very well known opener and if she was cute etc she may have heard it before, or she could just be having a bad day etc. |

Best advice is , PEACOCK THE CHAIR ... Tune it up have some sort of modification done to it , maybe a nice pair of alloy 4 inche with a low rider . the peacock yourself , you may have looked like another AFC with your looks, so trim yourself and your chair , pimp it up next time you go and open up you will look over her from top with your esteemed DHV . hope this helped |

I appreciate any advice I can get from you guys. Peacoking the chair may be a good idea. The one pos. thing is my sci (spinal cord injury) is low so the chair is manual and the backrest is small, so one thought I had was instead of peacocking the chair was removing the armrests to make it even less visible. Any thoughts? |

i actually know a guy his brother was in a wheel chair for the same reason as you acutally. He had his chair pimped out and stuff like he had a sound system on it and stuff and benz emblems on it. The girls used to love the thing so peacocking the chair would probly get you some attention. |
