Post subject:  K-Close on the Dancefloor within 5 Minutes - Second Approach
I'm new to the forums. Hi everybody. I read the Game a few years ago, but have only been putting the overarching psychology into practice. Broke up with my first serious girlfriend the other week and have made one intentional approach before this.

[If you're wondering: Drug dealer opener on a 2-set, improvised a neg & negged the obstacle (what), froze up without DHV'ing and having only had awkward kino.. Bounced without an attempt at anything more. Felt good though, because I crashed and burned as hard as I could have, but no pain came from it.]

Last night I K-closed an HB7.5 on the dancefloor without saying more than three sentences to her. I had just taken a laughing gas balloon at a warehouse party, and walked away grinning. I made heavy eye contact with her while semi-dancing my way around her - body language was key.

She started rubbing her body against me and I said "Are you dancing up on me?" I smiled, laughed, waited a bit, then told her "I barely know you." At this point she was facing me and dancing on me, so I spun her around with a twirl (taking control with strong kino, displaying alpha male tendencies) so she was grinding me. We danced for a bit more and I started holding her hands, ramping up the sexuality of the kino so she knew what she was getting into.

I then tried to spin her around again to face me for the kiss. She wasn't spinning for the first try or two, so I backed off and negged her with body language by not dancing against her so hard, looking around the room, etc. General disinterest on my part.

When she spun around, I looked into her eyes while we danced a bit more, smiling and biting my lip a bit. I went in for the kiss and she moved her head. I smiled and looked away with a sort of amused "Who does this chick think she is?" look on my face. I backed off a little bit until she pulled me back in to dance harder. I went in for the kiss again and she gave me a little peck. I repeated my disinterested and incredulous look, backing away and looking away a little again.

She pulled me in once more and I went right in for the kiss. I was a bit drunk, so I think I got a bit rough with sucking her lip into mine, and I mayyyy have been a bit grabby on her butt (the dancing was pretty intense), but the kiss was really pleasant and passionate.

We pulled away and smiled at each other. The next part is where I fucked up. I sat down on a bench behind us. I thought I'd be cheeky and try to get her to give me a lapdance. In retrospect, I think she thought I was sitting down so we could go a bit low-key, chat, get to know each other.

And a lapdance is just not a really great way to get a girl to dig you.. Sure it'd be a DHV for me, but I was not taking into account the fact that her friends/peers would think she was slutty. I didn't think until later about just talking to her, maybe negging her a little bit or pulling some canned routines, getting her number.
Anyway, after about 15 seconds of me realizing she wasn't gonna keep the groove on when we sat down, I got up and tried to get back into it. Didn't happen. The tension had died and I had broken the flow of the set. Her friend had seen us making out and he started talking to her. She turned around for a sec and was talking to him.

I didn't wanna seem needy, so I started to roll off without getting outta there, but it didn't make a difference. She kept talking to him, so I just bounced. In retrospect, I should have got her attention and said "I gotta get back to my friends. They're looking for me. Let me get your number." I think the mistake was a combination of being high on my first K-Close in the field & being slightly worried that he was a boyfriend that was gonna deck me. Looked around for her later in the night, didn't find her.

Other tidbits:

Was talking to a hot blonde at the warehouse (HB9 - rare in this city), hit her with an opener related to what we were doing. Can't remember exactly what I said but it was related to buying laughing gas - we were in line. She showed some early IOI's and I negged a tiny bit (you blink a lot), but didn't go into enough DHV or negging. She just got sick of me and I bounced

Negged this other little HB8 quite a bit, did the "Aw you're so cute, I'm gonna adopt you as my little sister" routine, as well as giving her "You blink a lot." She was very much into me & we exchanged kisses on the cheek (though I don't remember what I did to initiate it).

After a bit more intense flirting, I learned that one of the guys we were with was her boyfriend. He was walking about 10ft ahead of us on the way to the afterparty and said something like "Hey! Watch what you're saying to my girlfriend."
I was in a situation with a lot of people I didn't know & wanted to befriend so I caught up and said "Haha, hey sorry dude. Had no idea. Maybe I'll hit on you instead." Put my arm around him. Diffused it.

Got intense IOI's from this Swedish chick (HB7) all night at the afterparty. She was with her boyfriend but would constantly be looking at me whenever I was looking away. When she caught my eye for a second she'd grin. I got a little messed up later in the night so I can't remember everything, but I was negging and putting some routines on earlier on.

So yeah, only approached two real sets (Blonde in line for laughing gas, dance floor HB7.5). Wasn't really consciously gaming at all, just going out having fun with friends and seeing what I could do without making high-pressure approaches. Oh also a German HB6 made me give her my number, but she talks too much. Not really pretty enough to be a pivot either.
