So by no means would this guarantee anything, but I figured posting it here for a critique from those who know could be helpful.
I'm a waiter at a restaurant, and she left her name, number, and a note saying "you're cute". I did NOTHING to get it -- I served her like any other table.
The bold line is one I intended to play off as a joke, but it went very, very right.
Texting occurred as follows:
Me: "So assuming I wrote this down right, you would be Brooke."
Her: "And you are?"
Me: "ThatOtherDude, that "cute" waiter from Location."
Her: "Oh hi! How nice to hear from you! Yes, this is Brooke, and yes, you are really cute. I wanted to tell you that before I move in 2 days. ;("
Me: "Well maybe we should meet up before then.
"Her: "I agree! What are you doing tomorrow?"
Me: "I have a work meeting, but other than that I should be good."
Her: "Ok, where should we meet?"
Me: "Your place.
Her: "That won't work, but how about yours?"
Me: "My roomates have kicked me out for the day..." (I actually still live at home
)Her: "Well I do know this one parking lot..."
And thus it begins.... My first potential lay.
