Hi folks, this is going to be a long one, so get comfy.
So I got my first #close today after beginning to read about PUA on Sunday, which I was pretty pleased about. Admittedly, it could have been much quicker and smoother, and I've spoken to the girl before, so its not a huge achievement, but it is one that I'm happy with nonetheless.
My field report follows:
I was at my social area during lunch break, having just got back from getting something to eat. I noticed a girl I wanted to flirt with, not as a particularly serious thing, but just because she was semi-hot, about HB8 or so. So anyway, I walked up to her and her group of friends. I opened by asking her if she had her stuff for gym class today in a bored sort of tone. After some small talk, I sat on the table in front of her, blocking her view of her friends, and just looked at her with an amused look on my face. She started giggling and told me that she "couldn't see [her friend's name]." I told her I didn't care, to which she started laughing uncontrollably. I used one of Lovedrop's techniques I had seen in a video of his and put my arm around her shoulders, pointed at her and looked at her friends and asked if she was always like this. I held the touch for about 3 seconds before letting it drop, including the time it took to ask the question to her friends.
The lunch bell then rang and we all moved to the next class, which in the case of me and the girl I had just been flirting with, was gym. Turns out gym got cancelled because only 4 people out of the whole class actually had their stuff to take part, and instead we went to a classroom that wasn't being used to revise for other subjects. This is code for "I can't be fucked teaching you, we'll go to this classroom and you can talk to other people in this class for a double period."
For the first maybe half an hour in the class, I was just talking to my friends, but I had positioned myself strategically next to her, because I had the intention of letting the interaction cool down for a bit, then heating it back up near the end of the day and closing with her number so that I wasn't sitting next to her forced to carry on the interaction when I had what I wanted. I suppose in hindsight that this actually might have been a good thing, but I was thinking on the spot, so it was harder for me to see that at the time.
So anyways, this is where things get interesting. I then started flirting with the HB8, who we'll call girl1. The specifics aren't too important, it was just general flirting and it was over a long time, so I can't really remember a great deal, however she did want me to touch her hair, which is always good. Her friend was sitting next to her, who we'll call girl2. I've got a long term goal of sleeping with or at least kissing girl2, but she's very hard to read and always seems a bit aloof, so I was going to leave it until I had a bit more confidence and experience. Girl1 started giving girl2 a massage, so I told girl1 that she can't give a massage for shit and that I was much better, so she invited me to have a go. A little lightbulb lit up in my head at this point because I knew this was a chance to get Girl2 comfortable with my touch by jumping in right at the deep end and not having her freak out. So I walk over, not really caring whether how she reacted, because either way, I could just pass it off as the idea of girl1. I start giving her the massage and she looks at my friends looking like she's freaking out, but she wasn't serious about it, because she was laughing too, so I kept going. My friends said that "I should see her face right now," to which I replied that I didn't really care. Anyways, after that she actually got a lot more comfortable with me touching her and told me it was really good. She asked where I learned to give massages and that caught me off guard because I didn't know how to respond, so the interaction kind of bombed from there, so I broke it off before it started to seem creepy with me just standing behind a girl I hardly knew, not knowing what to say but still massaging her. But hey, my objective of getting her more comfortable with my touch was completed, so it can't be that bad. Anyway, I closed by getting girl1's number, however I hadn't built enough rapport with girl2 to ask the same from her, so I let that go.
My next targets are twofold for the rest of the week:
A group of girls in my biology class. My objective is to approach them and walk away with at least two phone numbers. I've decided that I can wait until the second approach to get both phone numbers, but I must get at least one phone number per approach. I'm pretty sure attraction is already there, infact I have a bit of a following of girls who don't know me, but I've never had the balls to approach any of them. Until now, that is. Next biology class is Thursday, however I have an exam, so I'll be pretty much confined to my seat the whole time. Nearest opportunity to talk to them all as a group will be Friday, which is fine as it means I can try to hook up with them over the weekend whilst our interaction is still fresh in their minds.
The second target is girl2, I wasn't too bothered about her for the time being, but it would be a shame to waste the efforts I gave today.
Anyway, any suggestions on how to improve my game based on this report would be greatly appreciated.
