Hi guys,
I'm new to this whole forum thing but I've been reading a lot lately people's field reports and decided to create my own for myself (to get help on my sticking points) but also for others to enjoy and learn from my lessons.
This is my story of of being a terrified-of-girls guy to a learning PUA.

Background Info
I'm a 21 year old student in the UK, I've only had serious relationships in pre-game part of my life which has pros and cons:
pros - lost my virginity at 17, had a lot of sex
cons - excitement and passion wore off fast in the relationship for me and eventually become a chore and a pain to be in a relationship

I recently have gotten out of a relationship about a month or so ago when I finally made up my mind to get better game and stop "settling" to being an AFC in a relationship just because its the "easier" option.

First game night
Before I go into my first steps of attempting PUA, I'de like to explain where I was coming from before the night. You see, before this night I have always been absolutley terrified of talking to female strangers whether it be a bar, club, coffeeshop, etc... I would just clamp up, my eyes would sometime start to water and my heart would race 100 beats a minute. I always found this a stupid fear as my friends would always say I was a good lookin guy which in some ways made me hate myself more for being so useless.
So what did I do to get over this fear? Well a few days before I went out I came accross a bunch of guys in California calling their Youtube channel "Simple Pickup" This is where I learnt the basics of the game and the one thing which got me over my anxiety:

After goin through this in my head over and over again something switched inside me. And so my night started:

SET 1
Entered first bar of the night, got a drink with a friend when I noticed someone (a female friend not HB) I knew next to me at the bar. I sidled over and asked hows it goin etc etc. She said she was here with some friends and pointed to a table of 3 girls. I insinuated that we have a drink with her friends and we walked over:
Immediately as I sat down I went for the forward approach of introducing myself to all the girls with a big smile. After this I found that it was a table of 6,7 and 8. I started talkin to the 7 and 8 mostly payin attention to the 7 while throwing a few neg comments to the 8 (thanks Mystery). Then thankfully my friend came and sat down inbetween my and the 7. This now allowed me to isolate the 8 and go in for the close. This was my first official game set so I hadnt learnt routines, body language etc.. yet so all I did was fluffed conversation with the 8:

HB 8: I'm from brazil, bla bla bla, spicy food
Me: Oh nice, I have a friend from brazil (half truth, "its not lying, its flirting") who cooks amazing spicy food once and a while. You and I should go to the XXXSpicy food placeXXX"
HB 8: Yeh deff, bla bla
(Just a few min before we leave)
Me: Hey, give me your number so we can hang out sometime (forward but affective)
HB 8: Sure, etc...
Me: *continues convo wrapping it up*
HB 8: My boyfriend works around there actually
Me: (thinking wtf?? boyfriend but u just gave me ur number) Oh cool, what does he do.... etc... (make a quick exit with friends)


SET 2
I left the bar with my friends and headed to the campus club with my new found confidence and female phone number. Now because I hadn't read much about 'the game' yet I was mostly using the very forward 'SimplePickup' technique which broke the ice. My Second set:
(went upstairs with wing and immediately saw 3 girls HB8,HB6,HB7 sittin with bodies pointing towards the room. Took a deep breath and made myself walk over):
Me: Hey, you guys look interesting, My name's Gez (with a big smile and hand extended)
(very forward approach compared to my current approaches I do now)
Friend: (intiated convo with HB 8)
HB6: (giggles) Oh Hi, I'm Katey
HB7: (plays with phone as I'm givin HB6 all attention)
Me: I can't stay long as I need to find my drunk friend (while sittin infront of HB6 = bad as they are locked in and I'm not) *convo with HB6 starts*

Me: Your friend looks like shes havin fun (sarcastically lookin at HB7)
(HB7 looks up while smilin almost lookin relieved that someone has talked to her)
HB6: (giggles)
HB7: Hey! I can be a load of fun!
Me: Hmmm I'm gonna need more convincing, what do u do then
(at this time 3rd friend comes in and starts chattin up HB6, yay for good timed winging, I now lock myself in between HB7 and HB6)
HB7: I do bla bla bla....
Me: (talk to girl as she is a friend nothing to crazy)
Me: hey well i gotto find my friend, before I go gimme your number so we can hang some time
Hb7: Yeh ok... its...
(leave with friends)


Self Review:
From lookin back at this I did some things right and some things utterly wrong
In set 1:
GOOD: approach, building connection, isolated target
BAD: no sexual tension or seduction, no kino = a friendly convo

In set 2:
GOOD: Locking self in, confidence and smile in approach, first use of neg
BAD: no sexual tension, hardly any kino, no gameplan

Overall: Lost most of anxiety in approaches, but need to:
- display value
- build connection
- kino escalate

before number closing.

Number close post report:
Set 1 girl has a boyfriend and seems very commited (dunno why she gave me her number!??)
Set 2 girl I txted the next day (to early??) and txted something about what we had talked about when we met which I now know is a big no-no as she probably thinks she was the high light of my night.

Great first night amigo!
Seems like you have very little AA, now at first I also struggled in Mid'game and closing.. at this point that seems to be your sticking point? Anyway im also relatively new to this and im enjoying the learning experience,or as i call it An Adventure. Looking forward to more updates bro.

Hey guys,
havn't written in a while because of work lately but heres another learning game night I had (little bit funny in parts lol...). Any tips or insight of some of my sets would be much appreciated!

Second Game night
This night I had one wing with me and it was a Tuesday evening so wasn't expecting much as we were only goin to pubs (but I was still motivated to approach anything nice :P)
Set1
We went into a student pub that was doing a pub quiz evening (I know, kinda lame but it's a comfortable SPAM) and got a drink. My friend spotted a friend he used to live with so we went over and said hello. I noticed that 1 girl (HB7) in the group was one of the girls from my first set from my first game night so I went over, sat opposite her and said hello:

ME:Hey, hows it goin?
Her: bla bla bla...
*fluff about exams, workloads, bla bla bla*
ME: hey, give me your number so we can hang out sometime
HER: ye sure...
*more convo.... then exited with friend to next pub*

Now this might have seemed good from gettin a number but I again (I kept forgetting to do this) forgot to build some kind of connection thats ISNT friendly but sexual. But at least now I had a little more confidence for the rest of the night.
SET 2
Next pub got a drink and saw a group of 4 girls sittin in a booth (HB 8, HB7, HB6 and HB6). So my friend intiated the "Go Game" (if ur friends says go to a set, u MUST go over and approach straight away. Any excuses or hesitation and u have to deal with the punishment which in our case was to do 15 pressups right then and there [Thanks SimplePickup for this game]).
I stopped thinkin about the "what ifs" and just made my body walk over (fuck u anxiety!! :P)

ME: Hey, you guys look interested *pause.... smile and extend hand* Hi I'm Geza
*slight pause, where I started to get the feelin of running away...*
HB6: Ooooh Hi, I'm *blabla*(cant remember name lol... dont judge me!) *shakes hand*
*immediately all the other girls jump on the band wagon and shoot out their hands to say hello to me and my wing*
HB7: Hey come sit with us
ME: Oh ok but we gotto meet up with some friends soon (false time constraint , Thanks Mystery)
*we sit, I sit opposite HB8 and next to HB6, I notice they all have pitchers of drinks*
HB7: so what do u guys do?
*exchange info bla bla bla*
ME: whats with the pitchers, you guys celebratin or what? (towards the Hb6 and 7)
HB8: We're celebratin the end of exams, Woooo! *all girls drink* , what about u guys?
Me: ah nice, ye same here really.... such a good feeling to be finished
*wing talks to 3 other girls while I fluff a bit with the HB8*
*after my ESP number routine , first kino and a bit more fluff, I decided i need 2 number close*
ME: hey, u seem cool, gimme ur number, mabe we can hang some time
*outstretch hand with phone in it*
HB8: Oh......I'm sorry, I have a boyfriend
*me thinkin: god damn it, another one!*
ME: Oh shit.... makes sense all the best girls are taken

Now dont ask me why I said this, i just panicked lol... at the end of the set I still managed to number close the HB 7 but suprise suprise when I texted her the next day she didnt answer as the HB8 probably told her what I said.... but oh well

SET 3
Last final pub we went to, went upstairs with our drinks where a HB6 and HB9 were standing. Was talkin 2 friend and told him 2 approach HB9 but while this happened HB9 looked over and stared right at me, I caught her eye and smiled. She smiled back so my wing told me he'd go for the HB6 (what a nice wing :D)
*wing approaches, dunno what he said*
ME: Hey, u look interesting, I'm Geza
HB9: Hi, I'm Eliza
*fluff fluff bla bla bla, during our convo I forgot about locking in as they were sittin in the corner of the room... oh well u live and u learn*
*half through convo, I start the kino this time (yaay!) with hugs, arm round shoulder. Then I go for the hand on leg while talking but I totally forget about the "2 steps forward, one step back" and just leave my hand there... ugggh I feel so stupid sometimes. Eventhough there was kino, there didnt seem to be much verbal flirting.... After convo I number close in the same way as last time (dunno if this is a good way or not?) and leave after pub shuts a few minutes later*

I text her the next day but the convo was really one way and lame , mabe I should have kiss closed I dunno... i suck at kiss close. I think I just need 2 isolate my target better or I came on to strongly and didnt do any push pulll....

I'll post my next night soon which went wayyyyy better!!! :D :D

You asked for feedback so here it goes. On the 2 set, when the girl says "i got a boyfriend" there are options: she can really have a bf, or it is just a lmr. In any case, you should have procceded with some: "And im sure he is a very nice guy and treats you perfectly. If you think that giving me your number so we can hang out later to talk and such will be pushing the boundaries of the relationship and result in a problem than by any means dont(while saying this slowly withdraw your hand). In a lot of cases she will rethink and give you her number.

3set: you had chemistry, you were at a nice place, you should have gone for the k close. And try to cut down all the fluffy talk, and escalate more.

Hey guys,
I've gone out a few time between the last post and this game night but they were fairly medocre and boring SO I'm gonna skip to my more recent and successful night and call it the third game night.

Third game night
Approached a good few sets this night but will go over the main 3 sets I did where I wasn't sure where I went wrong (and the last where I did right but need help with now).

Set 1
This was my first set of the night, I approached two targets (HB 7 and HB 8) with my trusty wing. We used a new opener we had for that day (which in hindsight sucked for me but went awesome for my friend so we only used it a few times).
*Almost walking past girl, then turn like I had a great idea*
Me: "Hey girls, we need a female opinion for a second"
Girls: "Oh, ok"
Me: "what do u think is better, t-shirt or polo shirt"
*I was wearing the t-shirt and my frien the shirt*
Hb 8: "Hmmm, its gotto be the polo shirt"
Hb 7: "yeh ye"
*This did this everytime lol, wasnt too good for me but oh well, convo splits into pairs now*
Me (with Hb 7 ofc... -_- ): "So why the shirt then...?"
Hb7: "i think its more elegant and better to go out with... bla bla bla bla"
Me: "hmmm i guess so, but t-shirts are so much more comfortable"
*fluffed a bit about her work, me, etc... but kind fizzled out and they ejected but said they might see us later*

Now i'm guessing, correct me if im wrong, that I should have had built better rapport but I wasn't sure how to turn the opener around into something that could have worked for me. To be fair it was my first set so I at least felt a little warmed up.

Set 2
In this set we got in to a fancy lookin club where I approached a good few.
Me and my friend went outside to have a smoke break, where we saw a group of 3 girls (HB7, HB8, HB8). They were smoking next to us so I turned and used the "female opnion opener":
ME: "hey guys, I need a female opinion for a second"
girls: 'Sure"
ME: "whats your opinion on this bracelet"
Hb7: "oooh, its nice... its really urban"
*all girls chime in with the same opinion*
Me: (talk about how girls have different views on guys wearing bracelets, necklaces, etc... After this my wing talks to the HB7 and HB8 while I talk to the HB8)
ME: "Hi, I'm Gez"
Her: "I'm *name* (lol forgot again)
*fluff a bit about uni and work etc... THEN I run the 1-10 ESP routine on her. I don't get her to say 7 but I use an extended version that always gets her to make her number into 20.*
Her: "What...? how did u get that?"
Me: I dunno, mabe I'm physic (with a massive smile)
Her: (body language starts pointing full towards me)
*Then a 4th girls comes out of nowhere and moans to the girls she wants to leave to go dancing*
*my wing and I stupidly don't intercept this cockblock and b4 I can get my girls' number (or may I should have not pussied out and just asked her for digits before she left) the group say nice talkin to u guys and leave*

Set 3
Now this set, i'm still not sure what happened but I'm gonna put it down to a little bit of luck mixed with timing and a little use of the game. Me and my wing go outside after havin another drink and dance for another smoke. We see two girls smokin next to one of the heaters so we walk up to them and get talking about how FFin cold it is. (two girls = Hb7, HB8)
Me: "Man its freezing today!"
Her: "Yeh, thats why i'm huddled up to these heaters"
Me: "hehe, yeh same here
*fluff for about the town, clubs and pub etc..*
Me: Yeh, me and my...(turn to wing to see hes making out with his girl..)
Her: (looks at the two)... Hey lets go dance
*go inside to the dancefloor and start dancing about arm width apart... after I while I put out my hands like Mystery does with his hand pointing upwards, she takes them and while I'm dancing I spin her and see how much resistance there is when pull and push her around.... there wasn't much*
Her: "OMG! your're so much fun"
Me: "Yeh i know (with a massive smile)"
*bring her in and get very close but then i let go of her hands and move a little further away, she starts givin me the doggy dinner bowl look now, so I wait a while then move in again and make out with her. After this I get her number but then the two girls ask me and my wing to come back to their place (my girl says I NEED to hear this band = im gettin laid). So we go to theres and I finally F close as so does my wing :D*

So there u have it, any advice or tips on any of sets would be much appreciated!!

Aslo theres some post game i'm havin trouble with, which is with the Set 3 girl. I've seen her once after this and got oral sex (her time of the month) but I started textin her with some lame texts after that which went like "Hey, hows it going? I'm doin bla bla bla" which she replies to after a while. I think our texts have kind fizzled out a little so I've havnt texted her in 4 days. I remember that hates texting cuz her phone sucks which might be why she doesn't text me....
Should I wait a day or 2 more and then give her a call and see if shes still into me or what...?
